              Hi everyone!

WELCOME TO THE BARELY FOUND LAND OF:

     El Paraiso

Before I start, I will list the modds I have downloaded from the stex:

NAM; PEG water modd; Columbus terrain texture; slope modd; bridge hieght modd; hole digger lots

lotery program ordiance; and probably many more! (i'm 15 and I am already forgetting things, that's not good)

Now for the story and pics:

In the year 1991, A rather large land mass was found of on the pacific ocean. It was so big, scientists began to wonder why they haven't seen it before. Anyway, it had a beutiful coastline and many mountains, rivers and lakes.

newregion1153023920yg0.jpg

newregion1153023962gj8.jpg

newregion1153024063oh2.jpg

In 1992, it was decided to leave the area as a new country and since the explores were mexican american, they decided to call the new country, El Paraiso.

For the next update, the first town will show up on the beutiful coast right by those really rugged mountain on the above pic. (it was an accident w/ the erode tool, so my bad)

Comments are welcome9.gif!

Raul39-  Braided streams are fairly common up here in Alaska. This pic is in the vicinity of Talkeetna, a town about 60 miles north of where I live.

braidedstreamsec6.jpg

Your CJ is the first place I've seen them in SC4.  Good luck with El Paraiso!

    El  Paraiso

    Chapter 1

    REPLIES ARE FIRST

KODS: thanks, I made the map with sc4 terraformer. It's great and easy to use!

Odd from sweden:Thanks, hope you like this update!

jacqulina: Gald you like my region!

aleking: I'll try my best on taking my time, cause it's hard!

joel27: let's hope my city is better, thanks!

manman: thanks, I can't wait either!

    tommy_vercetti3: once again, I can't wait either!

gurrgkud: wow, everyone likes my region!, thanks!

dedgren: thanks, this makes my cj have something original I guess. We have lot's of those here in California too.

szarkoz: that's what I thought, thanks!

collgab: thanks, hope you like this update!

    blondetwiggy: thanks too!

st luis dude: thats true! but wait till later.

Alright, now that that's out of the way, now for the good stuff!

    THE FIRST SETTLEMENTS

The first town formed was decide to be called "El Monte"

    1elmontewi4.jpg

El Monte has lot's of farm land.

    1churchbb6.jpg

This is La Santa Iglesia de Maria. The only building that looks 200 years old and is really only 1 year old.

    1elmontebeachpn3.jpg

Probably the best thing about El Monte is the clear beach. It atracts tourist.

    1elmonteschoolcb1.jpg

    There's our high quality school.

    1bdpff3.jpg

Also in the area is the comunity of Blue Diamond Point. It's just a resedential area with one 7-11 made by BSC.

    1nk4.jpg

Blue Diamond Piont is the place with the newest developements.

    1twokingpizzapw5.jpg

Why would King Pizza put a duplicate less than a block away42.gif? Any clue?

    1rockymtgl9.jpg

The gov. of El Monte is incredibly rich. Rumor's say that some guy found ton's of gold in the near by Rocky Mt. but the gov. got it all before anyone would place a shovel there. That's why the city is very nice and has a great edu. system.

    1elmonteisliu2.jpg

If tourism increases, watch out for developement on the island.

    1nextupdateinfoeb3.jpg

Here's a quick view of Chapter 2's updates.

Well, hope you enjoyed the first chapter of El Paraiso.

    More hopefuly tomorrow.!

Excellent start!!! Your terraforming skills are incredible!

The tropical town is quite nice.

I love that tropical feeling to this CJ.

The rest of the CJ is beautiful and realistic looking though 9.gif

    Before I update today,

I would just like to say if anyone knows how to

make it so that only one type of house appears in one neighborhood,

    please pm me.

It would really help out for the cj!

    Update later today!

    hey raul39

Beautiful region there! I love the braided streams. Just lovely. They work so well with the terrain mod.

And all your initial development looks great! Love those beaches with the rocks and coral.  Great work! I am looking forward to more!

    It's time for another update!

    El  Paraiso

    Chapter 2

    Replies:

Micah: Thanks, I didn't think my terraforming skills are all that great, but do remember, it was made with sc4terraformer. It makes makes everything easier!

KT3: "uniqe mountain range", that mountain range would have never happened if it weren't for a mistake I made, thanks.

kant01: Thanks, I hope you enjoy this update

Well, I hope no one is bored because here comes more your way!

    2bdpfx6.jpg

Remember, little Blue Diamond Point, well it isn't so little now is it!

    2elmontetl8.jpg

Although Blue Diamond Point is way different, El Monte hasn't really changed, except for that railroad right there. Oh, did I tell you about the new rail network of El Monte? I hope I did!

    2industrybc7.jpg

Heres the new Industry point. We got a nice Oil Refinery which takes care of some of our emplyeement problems. A cupple of tanks there which I really don't know what they have inside them, and a few warehouses that warehouse some stuff.

The new Industrial Center has left enviormentalists wondering,"Do we really want to destroy this paradise with dirty buildings?" This question led to the first real law of El Monte (note that I only said El Monte):

All industry except farms may no longer be built in the vicincy of El Monte.

No dirty residential buildings can be built in the vicincy of El Monte.

    and

All new neiborhoods MUST have their own park(s). No exceptions!

    sbeachmz0.jpg

When El Monte hit 2,500 citizens, the mayor built his own mansion and beach on the left, but, the stupid contarctors never finished the mansion (That Mansion was the Casa de Soliel Mayors Hacienda by riptide. I plopped the mansion and in 5 mins, it disapered and now I cant bulldoze the open lot or build over it. Please pm me if you know whats wrong). So then after Mayor got a hold of his anger, he built a smaller mansion on the right.

    2neigborhoodsbj3.jpg

Here are some of the new neihboorhoods in Blue Diamond Point.

    2twonewbridgeswv5.jpg

Two New Bridges were built after the industrial are was built.

    2nextupdatestp4.jpg

This is just a sneak preview of chapter 3

Well thats it for chapter 2. I hope you enjoyed it.

    Comments are welcome!

Hey, Raul39 it's very good your city, I think that there are a lot of customers of King Pizza to put 2 restaurants in the same street.

Why the Main street doesn't have a bridge? Very good terraforming.

Sorry for my English, i'm Spanish.

Since I'm boored at home, I'll go ahead and update right now!

    El Paraiso

    Chapter 3

...and now, you guessed it, replies!

asturiano: your, probably right, but king pizza is gone now and I don't even know why. also, don't worry about your english, it's good!

asturiano: thanks, that doen't make me an outkast any more!

collgab: ... and here comes another...

    now for some pics!

    3elmonteku3.jpg

Theres El Monte again and now it grew!

    3avenuerz5.jpg

El Monte is thinking for the future by building this nice avenue by the tracks.

    3neihborhoodnl8.jpg

Theres a view of one of the new and nice neiboorhoods

    3pieroi5.jpg

Theres El Monte's new pier. Lovely isn't it?

    3elmonteresortson2.jpg

Since alot of people come here as tourists, these new hotels called Holiday Inn by simmgoober and El Monte Resort, have been built by the beach. What's great is that El Monte Resort also has a gambeling hall for people could go waste their money!

    3elmontehillscb2.jpg

This here is El Monte Hills, were all the old, I mean elders and rich people live.

    3elmonteairportwe4.jpg

Why Build an airport when we have miles of sea! That's why we built this nice sea plane port by the BSC team.

    3freewaygr1.jpg

El Monte is a nice city and all, but we, meaning I, don't want to ruin the peaceful town image of El Monte. So, this new freeway was built to travel to the neihbooring new cities of El Cerro Verde and Pointy Valley.

    3namvy0.jpg

Which means we are now using NAM puzzle pieces.

Well, that's all for today. The next chapter will be about El Cerro Verde. It's a suburban city and a port city!

    Comments and suggestions are welcome!
