stop flashing messages!

i ok i  know that i have a message when i see the envelope icon but having it flash continously until you delete the message/read it is quite annoying. especailly when you subscribe to several cjs.

at least there should be an option for flashing or un flashing, i know its meant to help you realise you have mail but its soooooo annoying.

Well for one, you can subscribe to emails instead of private messages to the threads you're subscribed to. Its under Profile > Personal Options.

just press the "read" link in the listing, it should change to "unread" and stop flashing

Yeah, I've thought of this as annoying sometimes too, but all you have to do is mark your message as read and it will stop.

probably not a function of the Forum software. Please remember that Dirk did not write the source code for the Forum software, so there are limitations as to what can be redeveloped.
