Night Lights

For some reason I can't see nightlight when i'm in my cities, i get the ones from sc4 default buildings but everytime i download any cool buildings with grat lights from ST they just don't work, do i need some kind of extra mod or something to get the lights?

You need to Product Register your game and log in over at the Official Sim City 4 website and go to the BAT page. At the bottom of that page there is a section titled "How to get the most out of your B.A.T. experience" and there should be an update there. Download it and the custom buildings should have lights. Hope this helps.

you also need the original simcity with rush hour or deluxe edition. otherwise it won't work. i had the same problem, but i got the orinal one and everything works fine.

ok. I can't regester for some weird reason. When they ask for the cd-key, is it that ****-****-****-****-**** on the back of the cd case? It doesn't work for me though.

I've download the update but it dtill doesn't work, do i need to just put it in my plugins folder or is it a program itself? i think i need a couple of patches as well, since my computer got screwed up by a virus an it deletd everything on it, i had to download everything again but most of the mods and patces i don't remember their names.

You need to run the executable that you downloaded. Simply double-click the patch and it will run and update your game.

As for the CD-key, some versions of Rush Hour and Deluxe (mine, for instance) have the CD-key on the back of the jewel case. In any event, it is a 20-character sequence. If you are having trouble with registration, you will need to email Maxis. Someone from there will get back to you (eventually).
