@ ephorex_77 again all thanks goes to PEG and his hard work. Well the houses just built themselves in time so that means no mods no 'cutting' needed... patience is what was used...

About the pics i was pretty much just playing around with MS Paint and MS Picture It! [photoshop's retarded cousin ] and i think the pics came out pretty cool dont you think??

As the Narrows Family started to really bring in the money they decided to by an old section of South Duchati that was starting to become ratty and turn it into there new home. Daniel Narrows, the family patriarch, made out the plans and decided where all of the 137 members of the family would stay. As more and more people came into the 'New Narrows Hollow' the more people in the area found out that these nice people are turning their nice lives into the 'Beverly Hillbillies'. So the people of South Duchati forced the Narrows Family to build a large fence protecting them, and everyone else from each other. Even with the people around them loving their food but hating their personalities the Narrows family has persevered and now they are thinking of making an addition to their new home! Only time will tell were they go next...

Very interesting entrance into a storyline...Beverly Hillbillies eh? All I can suggest is to do a little more character building, I know I'd like to hear more about the Narrows family.

well you guys its finals week for my college class... so there might not be any updates this week but i might drop in a few times with a little teaser or two... right now a region shot is in the works so you guys get to see the region! w00t...

as for the grids... well its only griddy downtown and even then its not really that griddy...

well forget what i said in the previous post... heres your update!!



Cedar Grove The new Town on the Block. The reason for that is is because with Duchati becoming a Commercial Powerhouse there hasnt been any need for Industrial jobs. So Mayor Jimmy Lee decided to split Inustrial City into 2 smaller parts and make some suburban areas on the reclaimed land. Well out of that plan you have Cedar Grove.



Cedar Grove is home to one of the craziest intersections ever. This is an intersection between A23/A66/A23-E5. Many frieght trucks use this intersection to get their goods from one part of SimNation to another. But now that there is regular traffic going through Duchati decided to make this craazy interchange.



The beautiful Dhoppeii Creek is now able to run freely down to the Weyer River now that all the industy is gone. Even the waterfall is running faster than ever!



With the increasing number of people in Cedar Grove that wanted to work in Duchati without riding one of the busy ferries or racing the traffic on M97 Mayor Lee's board of Commerce brought up this plan. The Cedar City Plan was a plan that would extend the land about a 1/4 mile into the Weyer River and build a new bridge. With the reclaimed area, head of the Board of Commerce Ross Meister says, we can bring even more business and residents to Duchati without worrying about sprawling them away from Downtown. Lets take an inside look on how they went about making this a reality...



First they needed to make a detour for A5 during the 2 years that they were gonna need the coastline. Also they needed to make a new M. Bison High School which has the most students in one school in Duchati. 4,863 students.



After they were done demolishing the buildings and tearing up the roads...





They dropped special stones that are designed to flatten out the land, making it easier to expand out into the river.



Now that they've gotten the Duchati side finished they needed to get the Cedar Grove side ready to build the new bridge.



And after another year of setting down roads, building the bridge, and making a seawall to protect the reclaimed land. Then another 5 years of development here is the finished product.

tms - the whole interchange area is really cool looking.  It does look like it could confuse your sims a bit.  But very creative.  Thanks for the creek and waterfall being named after me.  It seems appropriate since I really like that rural type of stuff.  Looks very nice BTW.  I enjoyed the fact that you showed us the process of your land reclamation project.  I always enjoy those technical updates.  The finished product looks fantastic indeed.
