Alternate angles in CJ shots

In some CJ's I see shots that are in different angles. I would like to do that as well. I also see region shots that are from a top-down view so you can easily see the neighbourhoods and stuff. I think of starting a CJ, but I want to make these kinds of shots. Anyone know how???

I do know how to do it, but to summarise (to make it easier), it involves skewing images until the city's borders is in line with the edge of the canvas. Then it would involve some streching and resizing to get the image just right. The way to do that varies accoring to what paint package you are using.

Enjoy!

the real birds-eye perspective in regionshots is a bunch picture editing work with photoshop.

It's also possible with mspaint and results in quite the same effect, but I can't remember how to...

as for the different angles in city shots, they're mostly done by simply mirroring the pic

    Hi sim_jesse

    I will not post shots as I have no Photoshop at my hand right now:

    But here is a quick how to:

    1 ) Copy your image to a new one (let say 20% bigger )

    2 ) Use CTRL-T ( Select->Transform Selection )

    3 ) Skew and rotate the image until you get a correct result

    4 ) Don't forget to press enter ( to validate the skew/rotation )

    Take care

    I use Paint Shop Pro X and the CTRL-T combination doesn't work. Can you please help me out?
