Hi, I recently downloaded Cycledogg's snowcapped mountain textures, but when i get into the game the snow is not showing. What should I do?

rename the folder with "zzzzz" at the very front, so that it's the last thing to load.

make sure the mountains are high enough. also check to see you don't have any previous versions of Cyceldogg's modd, or any other terrain modds.

Do you have the regular snowcapped one, or the "LOWER" mod? Make sure you have the 2nd of these.

remove all your plugins and then try with just the snow-capped plugin. you might have a plugin conflict.

incidentally, can you post a listing of the files for this snow-capped mod?

the likliehood of a plugin conflict is high.  One of the principles that I have always gone by is that you can only have one terrain modifier in there at a time.  While this may be annoying, some of them come in sets that are tested by the creator and, at least, don't conflict with each other.

The problem is overlaying some of the texture tables multiple times.  The last one in is the effective one, usually.  Sometime the game just crashes.

    1) you can only have one ...PlayTerrainParameters in your plugins

    2) if that's all you have in your plugin folder, you're missing the textures. please redownload the mod and read the readme.
