I have simcity 4 and rush hour. I have played rush hour and the deluxe edition and I thought that they were the same. Just like The Sims deluxe is the same as the sims and livin large installed on the same computer. But I have heard some referances that rush hour and deluxe are different. Are they?

To my knowledge, they are exactly the same.  I haven't heard that they are different in any way.

Simcity 4 Original + Rush Hour = Simcity 4 Deluxe

CDI is correct....simcity 4 and Rush hour together is the same as Deluex version...the deluex is just a later released bundled package of both Simcity 4 and rush hour together...think there minor difference in the load up screen, but that be about it...the rest of the game is exactly the same...
