save file problem~

I got a saved file from my fds and i put it in my simcity folder.  However, i cannot see it on the map. What do i do if i want it display on the map?
Can anyone help me?

ok...you need to place the city file in your "my documents/simcity4/regions/dowload" folder (if you used the default install settings)

next time you open the game click once on a city...the little window that pops up with the city info has an icon to the bottom left...this is the import command///click on this...surf to the ubove mentioned folder and click on the city file ...this will import the city to the region so your able to play

PS...remebr that if it is the correct size as the one selected...you can only import a city of the same size...small city to a small city tile...med to med city tile and large to a large  tile ...if you try importing  it to the wrong  city size the city won't appear in the menu

How do i know what size it is? is it a small, med or large city?

unless your friend can tell you....trial an error I guess..

when you click on a city to view it's stats...theres a small icon...sort looks like a monitor in the botttom left corner of the op up window...click on it

"import a city" command...this will a second popup ...alllow you to import a city to the city your viewing...you must select the city by file name and folder through this window...

the city you wish to import...must be the same size as the  city your currently viewing..
