120,000 already!

Yes, we are here folks... 120,000 members! 

Many people (Some didn't, of course) thought it would take at least another year to reach this number, but here we are (well, just 8 people away). Now that we have reached 120,000, it isn't hard to imagine ST hitting 200,000 within 2 years.

I'm glad we reached this milestone.

I seem to remember 10 000 being the big achievement back around when I first started posting. Now we've come to 120 000! The size of a small city!

Golly.  Where are all these people coming from?

Its interesting, because there are so many members, but every time I look at the stats at the bottom of the forum page, there are at least twice as many guests as there are members.  I guess more and more of them keep joining.  So I can only imagine Simtropolis getting bigger and bigger.

The interesting idea though is how many of the 'residents' are people who have registered more than one account usnig different email addresses? Issues like that could also inflate the numbers improperly.

^ Well, that's only about 2% of the people that go here. Not many people do... only if they are banned do they create a second account (but some create another one just for other reasons).
