Forum getting posts mixed up

What's up with this:

Seems lately the forum has been mixing up threads and its been rather odd. Also, i noticed if you try posting on messages that get mixed up like this there is a good chance the forum will eat your reply or have "forum diarrhea" as bourneid likes to say and like triple post your reply, or create an extra blank list page on the topic like what happens with really long threads.

this isnt really an issue, and im sure many of you have noticed this before. i was just wondering, is there anything a poster could do to cause this, like posting too many times or having a post deleted then reposting or something odd like that.

It's happened to me a time or two also and I may have made a print screen just in case . I think it's been mentioned in another post in SimTropolis also. I didn't write anything b/c it was only a couple of times and it lead to some cool threads in the City Journals even the though the posts were initially way elsewhere.

I'm sorry Hamster...is there supposed to be something odd about the picture? I don't see it.

But I do experience the problem with there being blank pages in threads, particularly in huge threads.

Yes, there is: "The Moose Factory" is supposed to be under the General Off-Topic thread, and I didn't reply in there either.

Yes, many odd errors. Just the other day I noticed an error with 'the wait is over... again' in the Building Concept section. When I clicked on it, it still sent me to the right thread!

And yes, is there anyway to stop those blank pages at the end of threads? I hate being a whiner, but that's the only thing that I haven't been able to get use to on Simtropolis 5.0.

I think dirk is able to delete the blank pages at the end of threads, I think he said if you see any of these, notify him and he will delete them.

Yeah this is a common problem, fortunately it isn't a major inconvenience.

It would appear that there are still some rough edges in the data base software.  I had congratulated dirk on killing the off-by-one that was causing delay on the first post of a new page until the second messages was posted, but I find I was mistaken.  It is still there.
