Street Names Vanishing

This is very frustrating.  I like to take the time to name most of streets using signs.  I use the nice yellow ones that snap to the road.  Then I noticed that not only do these signs disappear when I upgrade street to road or edit the road, the streets that intersect also lose their signs.

Is there a fix for this?  Is this why I see so few street names in the CJs?  Any ideas?

Oh! I thought you were going to say they dissapear altogether! Well, um, I dont think theres a fix for this... I never knew this even happens!

never happened to me either. i use only the big blue signs, and never the yellow ground ones(they can be hard to read sometimes). and i think that most people turn them off when doing shots for their cj. with me i only use them for reference and to mark where things need to go.

I don't think there's a fix for this... Though I wouldn't be suprised if one was possible.

Also of note, any underground construction (pipes, subways) also deletes street names.

My workaround is to move the label off the road while working, and then move it back.
