STEX buildings dont light up..lots imcomplete

hey there wen i downloaded some of the building off of the xchange

such as the las arenas hotel it doesnt light up at night 

why is this?

also sometimes the lots seems imcomplete as well

like wen i downladed the mariott hotel there was no parking lot...just cars o n grass

and sometimes the building itself doesnt even show up 

how do i fix this?

You're missing dependencies. These are additional files (usually textures and props, but sometimes entire buildings) that are necessary for the game to display the lots you download properly. Consult the readmes that came with the files you downloaded and download the listed dependencies.

As for your night-lighting, you need to get the update from the Sim City 4 site. It's on the BAT page in the left-hand column. Download it and install it. While you're there, make sure to download the other update (EP1) and the "Buildings as Props" files from the Lot Editor page.

Thank you, but i can not be  product registered, i lost my serial numbers on CD's Case. My brother broke them, i couldnt read them >"<. Can you send the updates to my e-mail?

sorry...I feel your pain.... but you have to get the official files from the official site....hate to say it but you have to deal with EA on this...as giving them away is consider piracy...and that breaks Dirks #1 rule  (even asking for them can possible get you banned from ST)

as Tolo said, there is nothing further we can do for you, you must download these files from simcity.com, they are available no place else. you will need to contact EA support, or repurchase a valid serial #.

Mmm, thank you guys so much!!! I think I will just get a summer job to pay for it. what is the difference between deluxe and rush hour. I have rush hour, but it seems they are the same.

Can you tell what are the differences? thanks again
