More Traffic

When ever i am in u-drive mode in my cities there seems to be no traffic or if there is it disappears as I go by. Is there any mod or setting I could use to switch the traffic settings?

It depends on how good the comute systems are. The dissapearing also happens to me. I try to take advantage of it in missions. But it would be nice to have a load of traffic someday.

There's no mod that I know of that can fix that. The cars appearing, traveling for a few city tiles, and then disappearing is just one of those stupid things about how Maxis made this game. However, there are mods that help redirect traffic to better routes, such as the Perfect Pathfinding Mod (I think that's the name of it); it can be found in the Modds & Dowloads section.
