Residential and plaza textures missing

After installing a few ploppable buildings and the like, I noticed that when low density residential buildings were constructed, they lacked driveways and trees.  The same with plazas and flower gardens.  Can someone please give me assistance as how to remedy this?

Thanks

you can adjust settings in game, maybe you accidentially put details on low, so that props and extras dont appear on lots. just set the details to medium or high, if you can and still play the game without slowing it down

Also check that you have any prop packs or texture packs needed by the items you downloaded. The creator of the lot should specify what dependencies are needed either in the readme or in the STEX description. If the item uses custom dependencies, you may see a very bare lot if you don't have them also installed.

In addition to cnystrom1, that will happen after patching a build. I had that problem until I figured it out.

Or if you have a pirated copy you need to fix your now corrupt simcity_1.dat file.

Welcome to our conversation.  It is most likely that your graphics settings are too low.  On the other hand, if you downloaded certain lots you may now have a key conflict with some textures.

I'm was having this exact problem after I've downloaded a bunch of stuff and props and textures went missing. After reading this post I just went into game and noticed the graphics levels somehow got put way down. I'm wondering if it was done automatically because the downloads were taking up too much CPU, because my game was slow for a while. Well after setting the levels to normal (from low to medium), I went back into the game and guess what? It's fixed! A little laggy, but it's much better now 4.gif

If your graphics get set to low and then you reset them to high, you may have to restart the game or atleast reload the city to see the changes from low to high... even if it is not listed in the pop-up box that open after "clicking accept". At least I had to reload/restart.

As said above, your graphics setting is probably set on low. Most of the time it's all about game settings.
