xiziz: Wow, thanks. Yeah, I use Imageshack now. But I used photobucket cause you could save all your pics there and view them there. But I guess it's not very important so I'll stick to imageshack from now on i think.

Sloppet: Wow, welcome back! And WOW, Page 3!!
About that picture, I used Photoshop CS 8, probably the best image editor out there. It was really easy really, those colours are just a special brush, but you can do that with other programs too, and just set the layer to colour burn...

PhatHead: Howdy! heh, well thank you. Yeah, I will try to keep the updates coming. Has been hard this week, and i'm sorry for that but school has been hell. Well keep coming back!

Sloppet: ohh, heh ok. That is just the map, the Grayscale one that you get when you download the map from Simtropolis. I just edited it a bit so that it looked more like a map, than just a region picture.

@ sloppet: I think these walls are the River Tool Kit RTK 3 from pegasus. Just make a search on the stex with pegasus and you should find this an other nice stuff

Nardo69: Thanks! Yeah I put a lot of time into my traffic layout. I think that the layout is maby the most important part of your city.

Oh man, the railstation in pic. 10.5 is from a Japanese BAT'er. You should check out the Japanese BAT thread, really good stuff there. Sorry for not having a link.

The walls in pic. 11.2 are the Decorative Walls That i cannot find anymore on the STEX. I'll try and upload them later, in this Thread.

              Now I thought there was time to update again, so here is update 13 !!!

 

 

 

 

Well, has been some time since I made any progress on my Maybury map, but I allowed my self to sit down and play a bit today. I always though the area south of Maybury looked a bit strange whithout any houses there, so my main objective today was to start some construction there. I didn't finish it though, but I still think the pictures came out pretty good! So, this update will be about South Maybury city.

- To your right is Sloppet street wich is one of the biggest streets in Maybury.

-The Sloppet street ends at the Dhoppeii Canal. This Canal is often stuffed with boats and people who enjoy the nice recreation area. The canal also works as a shortcut for smaller boats and ferrys who want to exit or enter the Maybury lake.

 

-I'd like to personally thank Dhoppeii and Sloppet for being my most frequent posters, and showing their interest in my CJ. Thank you!

I absolutely love pic 13.2...That whole stretch is going to look fantastic when it is finished....In 13.5, is that a hospital?  It looks like one, but I haven't seen it before...I also see that fencing again along Sloppet Street....Nice touch...

 

13.6 looks incredible...especially becuase is has a shot of dhoppeii canal in it....Did that bustop in the pic come from the STEX?

doggyman: Wow, thanks. Yeah, since those embankments came out I always wanted to make a area like that. Though it wasn'e planned for South Maybury city, but I think it blends pretty good with the enviroment. Thanks for the comment, please return for more updates!

Dhoppeii: hehe, knew you would like that one. yeah, I hope I can make that thin strech of land look beautiful, and I will do my best to assure it.
About that hospital in 13.5; you can find it in the Japanese Bat thread (the massive one ). I love that hospital, looks great.
Those busstops are from the STEX. And it is because of you that I have downloaded them. Think it was you atleast who asked me if I got those black ones to work, and since i did not get them to work I downloaded some other busstops..

Well, as I said in the last update, this update will be about the construction and terraforming of south maybury city. I didn't play very long yesterday, but i think it came out pretty good. Please comment or maby help so that South Maybury city will look as beautiful as possible...

Wow, thank you guys so much. I have been really busy with exams lateley so I haven't played Maybury in some time. Though I have tried to get Cycledogs Terrain mod to work, but it wont. I checked with jeronij if i was missing some files, but i wasn't. Going to start a thread, so that I can find out what my problems are.
