well sounds like theres no development because of maybe because of something simple, like lack of  water or not zoning at higher density...maybe even not enough garbage disposal or proper civic building coverage...you should have higher development by 200 yrs....unless you purposely stagneting growth in the city

start at greyveil's thread...make sure you have all the essential files

get the NAM and the SC4tool programs from the mod download section:

1) try using neighbour connections 26k people is really quite under developed for 200 years.

2) yeh most of the stuff in cjs is eye candy. thoes buildings are plopable and can either be downloaded off the stex or some other site.

And the RCI keep telling me that i need more comercial zone i could do it ,but i wonder why some players no need to much lands to increase the number of citizens and also big-high buildings will apear....PS. i have used higher density for all kind of lands...

i have saw a pics from someone, he just used about 30% lands for zoning but over 200K peoples there, now i used about 80% of the map....who know why??

you said you have neighbor connections, but do your neighbor cities have any development in them? the purpose of having neighbors is to share demand. when you start building up the neighbor cities and having them specialize (industry city, dump city, Central Business District, suburb, etc) then all the connected cities will begin to feed off of each other and begin to grow.

It takes a lot of extra work but it is worth it, and to a degree, necessary.

You can grow big cities, even if you only have 1 city in your entire region. It's more difficult than developing with neighbours, but certainly possible. I've grown a single-city to almost 1 million pop, but it was on "easy" and was the ugliest metropolis I've ever built. Basically, it was just a big, flat grid with lots of avenues and subways. Now, I stick to cities with much less high-density, and much more interesting landscape features. I also have lots of cities in my region, and all the bus and rail traffic makes generating cash (from transit fares) super easy (even on "hard" level). Almost feels like cheating.
