ok...not seeing pic yet...so going on what you your saying, and complaints like this in the past...never heard of water texture itself affect the region view...but there is a graphics glitch in the game, which sounds like your problem...happens when you run the game in 1600x1200 mode...have no idea why...but  a thin greyish blue line appears across the bottom of all large cities in the region view...not sure if this is what your experinceing or not....if so it's just a eye candy glitch and has no effect on play

if you looking to take region shot ...I suggest droping the resolution down...or using the region census program...4.gif

PS @ sloppet don't be an idiot....don't tell ppl to re-install their game for minor glitches, or for stuff your not even sure what the heck the problem is yet

The saved thumbnail of your city is probrably badly saved. It is relatively easy to resolve this. You just go into the city concerned, save it again and return to the region view.

The reason behind this is probrably because that you were running another application while you were saving your game. That's why the manual recommended you to end background tasks. However, you could run the game smoothly with background tasks as long as you have enough RAM or memory for the cause.

There is an image installer on this edit page, but you have to have the image on a web site.  It is the one to the left of the smiley image above.  Size limit is 800 x 600 px.

The other option to attach a file is use the file attach buttons below.  This will upload your image to our server and then you can display it as a thumbnail that can be enlarged.
