Problem with MapGen : help me please

Well i got a problem with MapGen : when i create a region i can put it in the game by creating the bitmaps but when i get in the game and open it i see a region with good size and good area definition but THERE IS NOT ANY RELIEF !!! Why ??? Help me please !!!!!!

im not 100% sure, but i think when you change the city sizes of the file, the terrain disappears.

You have a region that is totally flat? Loads of city squares but no terrain detail? Visit: this link. the thread is mac but it applies equally to PC

It's normal. Have look at the tutorial ?

When you are under Simcity, you have to press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R.

Then, a windows will be showed.

Use this windows to select the the bitmap file of your region and validate.

You will crtainly have to wait few minutes after because SC4 will update the relief. During this time, a lot of funny message will be displayed.

Then, the messages will stop and the relief of your region will appear.
