i wanted to dl the patch for my deluxe edition but wheneva i install it most of the buildigns disappear and the ground tiles are left i have the left hand version if dat helps

Most probably you have an incorrect patch version. If you're from Europe or have European version of SC4, try using SKU2 to EP1 installation patch.

like it is said above make sure you install the proper version for your game or all sorts of wacky glitches happen...you don't need all the patches...just your version...after applying the patch to your game...rest your graphic setting inside the game...the patch seems to drop all the details down to minimal when applied, this also cause a few eye candy problems

what happened to me, is when I only installed the patches from simcity.com support. I got the same problems, only ground was showing on many lots. Then when I installed the BAT patch, everything was ok again I dont know why. But I think it has something to do with my graphics card.

soz ive searched for it and got a description thnx every1

SKU2 is the European version of SC4. If you select an update from ea website, select manual update. From there you can select which version of SC4 you are updating.

you need Rush Hour or the Deluex version for any BAT material to appear correctly...if your running vanillia....any bat is out...and any lot which may contain bat "material" (prop...texture etc etc) will not work in your game properly (this is about 95% of the new stuff on the STEX....or aleast all the good stuff anyways... )

yh i have the proper version the uk deluxe edition, its soooooooooo annoying lol all the highway signs are for the right side of the road even tho its left hand!
