I've had the same problem with both my SC4 and RH registrations. However, I was mainly registering to download Maxis files. If this is what you're after, Maxis have allowed the download of these files via forums such as Simtropolis with no copyright infringement. If your trying to register to download Maxis files, try serching for them on Simtropolis instead.

I just had the very same problem angel0fmars. Turned out that it was a mod that I had installed (one that gave landmarks jobs. All I can suggest is move all plugins and downloaded content to another file (e.g. on your desk top) and then re start SC4. Play the tutorial cities for a while. If you still get a crash, try remove/installing the SC4 game. If the tutorials work okay, then one by one re install your plugin folders on at a time, starting and playing the game after each folder is placed back. Hopefully you'll find a folder that causes the game to crash. Once you've found that, remove the folders contents (back to desktop again) and this time bring back one filer at a time to try and find the problem file. Hope this helps, it certainly got my problems fixed.

Hi all, hope some one can help me. My RH recently started to shut itself down during game play. Got to the point that one city in my region would only open for a second or two, then the game would shut its self down. All other cities opened though. My region only has 5 cities with a total pop of approx 250K, so it's not what I would call big. I backed up my plugins and reinstalled SC4RH. Default game worked fine. Reinstalled my plug in's and tried opening the big city tutorial, and same problem happened again. It just shuts down. I'm running a Intel Pentium 2.4ghz processor with 3gb RAM. My plugins folder is approx 700MB. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas??

Just an update on my progress with this problem. I have completley uninstalled SC4 RH and reinstalled it. Same files off the STEX DVD's still lack main building detail. Any suggestions most welcome.

It's a Pentium Dual Core 2,45GHz processor, 3 GB RAM, nVidia 512MB graphics card and the operating system (if this means anything) is Windows Vista Premium.

Hi all, This is my first post so be kind! I've down loaded numerous BAT's and LOTS of the STEX DVD Vol 2 but are fining many of them are appearing with no building detail. I common;ly have the ground detail (asphalt, concrete etc) and some surrounding deatil (trees, tennis courts etc) but no buildings. In all cases there are either no dependancies or I have downloaded any required ones but still no buildings. My graphic settings are on high. Does anyone have any suggestions?
