I gonna have to go ahead and agree with littletuck. Shaq Fu is, and will forever be, the worst game of all time. I'm not going to repeat the reasons, since littletuck did a wonderful job listing them all, with links. however I will add that even for a genesis/snes game the graphics and framerate was ridiculous. I dissagree about FFVIII, which happens to be my second favorite Final Fantasy (FFV being first), simply for the GF (Guardian Forces) system. not only did it have an immense list of summons, the junctioning allowed for more versitility in characters' abilities, and leveling up of summons. the only down fall was the draw magic, which made magic more like an item than an ability. FFVIII was slightly used as a basis for FF Ten (I use 10 because some people can't get over their roman numeral X hangup), in which the summons did level up, but only able to be used by one person, which limited the game's potential. also 10 was much more linear than 8, in the fact that you are at the end of the game before you get the airship (not much better than the floating building), and are finally able to explore missed areas. the worst Final Fantasy game however is clearly the britney spears-esque Final Fantasy TEN-2 ( I refuse to call it X-2 for reasons previously stated), which is the farthest from a FF game for obvious reasons *cough* dresssphereandstupidpistolsinabattle *cough*. I apologize for this digression.

I suppose you were referring to me, zelgadis. most of these games were only released in japan, a majority of these are on nintendo consoles (nes/snes/gb/gba) before nintendo got really PG on us all (i.e. gamecube). the newer titles that have been released in america are for the psx/ps2 and maken x was for DC. the rest of the games however, were mostly on the saturn, and as such even though they were released stateside, most have not heard of a good portion of these. jack bros. seems to be more prominent than some of these, only due to the fact that it was for the virtual boy. only 14 games were released for the VB in the us, and only 4 more in japan. Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne for the ps2 was a fairly good seller, and worth checking out, if you are into pokemon styled rpg's, with a storyline about demon summoning. but to answer your question, they do seem a bit obscure outside of japan, with mostly just a cult following at best. however in japan, they are a 3rd best selling rpg, rivaled only by Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest (not necessarily in that order). Duke87, in response, yes, I have played all of those games in that list, with the exception of the not released ones and the japanese cell phone ones. I own the carts of most of these, including the tiger handhelds, and Rockman.EXE WS for the Wonderswan Color. there were a few of the arcade ones I didn't know about also, but I am now currently looking for versions of them to play. the city I live in doesn't have an arcade . if you know where I could obtain a japanese cell phone that can play the others, let me know.

I've played all the Megaman games, 3 or more times. you need a diet of good rpg's as well.

I voted for Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne 2004, I'm a big fan of the main character being a demon also, and being able to level him as well. btw, I meant to put an all the above and a never played any buttons, sorry.
