The bionic tower looks so wierd! At least the Millenium tower would look decent! I mean, it looks like it would be placed sort of far away from the HK CBD, but still ok. I think it's good that neither are getting built.

Hey, this seems very nice! I like your downtown setup. The way you have placed the Tapaie (sp??) tower is very realistic. It reminds me of the real thing, one giant pen surronded by small earasers (lol bad pun) and the limited # of skyscrapers is extremely realistic.

That's real strange... I run with hardware rendering. I have an NVIDIA FX 5200. Same as yonder. I haven't messed with the settings, but I'll just drop you my system specs. XP Pro 2 gig RAM 160 gig HD NVIDIA FX 5200. Sound Card Realtech AC97 Pentium 4 3 ghz HT And if you need more info, just tell me.

Did Tankman delete his post or something? Anyway, my dads from Mumbai. It's really polluted, and traffic is the worst in the world! You don't know traffic until you've been there. 24 hr honking, no matter where you are. Really. You can barely sleep on the first 5 floors. They are finally building an extensive subway system, with an extensive EL rail system (taking from the greatness of Chicago) They are also expanding the heavy rail system. BTW, its expected to be the second largest city in the world by 2015 or 2020. I really don't think it's gonna grow much larger with that kinda hellish traffic. But the city is huge! You can see the smog from that picture. Ending note - DUBAI SUCKS!!

Yea, generally, just keep expanding throughout your region. Low Density R mixed with some Low Density C works well. Often times, suburbs will have small industrial complexes, like 10 -15 manufacturing factories, or more often, high tech industry. Realism is sometimes a good reminder, for example, if you build a airport (with lots of traffic) it will be undesirable, cheap land. Maybe build a small industrial complex off to the side of the airport.
