Thank you so much for approving the post. But I have resolved the issue with the help of this article. They suggested some simple solutions that helped to solve the issue. The tasks which I have done, first I repaired the Steam service and restored Windows Boot settings to default. After doing the tasks properly, the problem got solved. Now I have no longer any issues while playing the game.

Greetings to all, I purchased the game 'SimCity 4' from Steam last week and I have been playing the game on my computer well. But since last day I am encountering a problem when I tried to open Steam. I came across this error message "A connection to the VAC servers could not be made." This is the first time that I am encountering this problem. Could anyone please help me to fix it?
