About Me

Got my first taste of City builders from my dad, watching him play SC2K and SC4, when I was a wee lad. Don't remember if he played 3000, but then again I was preschool age. Got to actually playing them, uh, had to be 2011-ish, played Streets of SimCity and the first Sims then as well. I do definitely remember being hyped for SimCity 2013, and really liking the modular additions for the buildings, like the firestation. Still do. Not enough for me to play it, though.

Then I got swallowed up by Minecraft roundabout 2014, up 'till 2018 or so. I'm not even sure if I played another computer game during that interval, which is screwing with my mind. Anyway, SimCity (that is, SimCity Classic) wormed its way back into my head through being one of the games I could run via emulation on Archive.org when I was bored in class.

Nowadays, I play mostly SC4, with some SC2K thrown in. I dabble in retro/classic/vintage/out-of-date computing, and SC2K tends to be the one that'll run on the stuff I have. Plus SC2K has its own way it operates, different from 4.
