  1. I have both the standalone gog version of SimCity 4 Deluxe and the Steam version. On Steam, I try running the following: -CustomResolution:enabled -r2560x1440x32 -f -d:DirectX -Cursors:fullcolor -Intro:off -CPUPriority:high -CPUCount:1 I try running off a similar setup on the launcher. Both work if I force software renderer, but then I run into the trailing issue I showed above. The game used to work fine off my old GTX 1060 with an i5-7600. This rig has a RTX2070S GPU and a Ryzen R7 3700x processor. I updated my drivers to 471.96, unfortunately I run into the same issue. Should I be running any particular wrapper from this thread ( https://community.simtropolis.com/forums/topic/759813-test-of-various-directx-wrappers/ ) ?
  2. I've tried reinstalling SimCity 4 recently to give the old timer a go. But it seems like the game really doesn't like my video card. I'm currently running a RTX 2070 Super. I've tried following the instructions on how to configure the hardware with the Graphics Rules and Video Cards. For Graphics Rules: stringMatch cardIdentity "NVidia*GeForce*" Should work fine as the card's name is NVidia GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER. For the Video Cards file: vendor "NVidia" 0x10b4 0x12d2 0x10de card 0x1e84 "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER" I added a line for the video card. The device ID is the one that shows up in GPUZ. The game simply crashes on startup. Doing this worked fine with my old GTX 1060, am I doing something wrong? If I switch the game to use software rendering instead, the game becomes a mess if I scroll in any way, which makes it hard to play (Apologies for the phone photo):
