I am happy to say that I got the program working and after some hardcore organizing, I set up a system where I can modify the most common things in different cities. May I suggest a possible feature? That being, add in the ability to *select all* or *deselect all* as it makes it quite difficult to select all the folders by hand to make a new profile each time. I know I can copy it over (I just read the readme again but it would be handy... One small question to ask: what does the all surplus folders option do? Keep up the great work! Gisa ^^

Hi All, This looks like a great program but I have a quick question/request to ask. If it can't be done, it's not a big deal but I think it'd be very handy! My dilemna is this: I'm only interested in building one large region but I would love to be able to use different plugins (i.e. different trains, trams, buses, buildings, etc...) for different cities. Is there a way to modify this program it so that you can allow select cities to use different plugins? If it could be done, it would be very handy! I apologize if this has been asked before. I'm very new to the forums here. Keep up the great work! Gisa ^^

Haha don't ask me to name the stupid things I've done. I do think Einstein said that. I remember his other quote though: Brilliance will always face opposition from meidocrity or something to that affect. Yeah I guess there seems to be a lot of people who get cracked versions of the game. I tried to include legal in my replies to ward off that presumption but I guess people can pretend to have a legal version to get advice too. Apology accepted! Amazing how I manage to anger people unintentionally. I seek help and manage to irritate others...how does that work? I stated my IQ so as to try to demonstrate that my chances of missing the obvious (such as putting the proper CD into the drive which might stump someone in the 90 IQ range) would be reduced. As I stated in my first post, I picked up the expansion pack in Walmart (which as far as I know, will never sell illegal copies of any game). I guess you must have missed reading that the first time around. As I reinstalled the game no less than 8 times and searched over 15 webpages for answers, hopefully you could see how frustrated I would be at not being able to play a game I was able to play before and which I had legally purchased. Glad it's working again. Thank you for the compliments on my explanation: I hope it helps others who encounter this problem. And in case anyone thinks that I'm bragging, let me be the first to state that I have done many incredibly stupid things in my life and will continue to do so. TLK

Wow quick reply! Nonono! You misunderstand me! I bought the legal version of the RH expansion pack in a Walmart here. Think about it for a second: how the heck could a huge international (and wealthy) chain such as Walmart get away with selling illegal RH copies? It couldn't! The box had the EA symbol, manual, everything in colour and legit (just in Korean and English). As I said, it worked fine before too, so if it was illegal, why would it not work now? I'm not trying to brag, but I have an IQ in the 140 range and while I do wear glasses, I can read, deduce, extrapolate and listen quite well so I know it was a legal version of the game! Yes, I do acknowledge that Korea copies many things. America did that too about 300 years ago (hence our current copyright laws). I hope that changes soon out here. Many countries do that for many reasons but regardless, I have a 100% legal version of the game and its expansion pack. But no worries! Because of the kind advice given by Storms911, I got it working properly! The main problem was the incompatibility between the auto-updater and differing regions. So for those of you who have this configuration graphicsrules.sgr problem, to fix this error (if you have purchased the expansion pack in a differing region than the original) just install the regional patch for Vanilla (plain) Simcity first (if you purchased it in region 1, install the region 1 patch). Then, install the RH expansion pack. Lastly, manually patch the RH expansion pack using the region you bought it in (for example, if you bought it in region 3, use the region 3 patch). It should work fine after that. I got stuck in this situation because of the auto-updater and the lack of clarification on this issue (I will write to EA about this: judging from all the sites I saw with this problem on google it might make things a bit easier for some!)
