I am thinking that this is probably normal, but I thought that I should check, just to be sure. I have a large city, of about 600,000. The framerates, and the game itself seems to be running fairly well, but the date keeps getting stuck for long periods. (3 minutes or more) And then when the date does change, it only goes forward for about 5 days, on cheetah speed. Then it stops again. Is this normal? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Oh, and sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Okay, thanks so much everyone! The city has grown a lot, with the taxes evenly distributed now. The population is now 135,000, with everyone having a job, and quite a few hi-rises! Thanks everyone!!!

That makes sense. Thanks, dmrsunz. The weird thing is that this city is the only one in the region in which I'm having trouble with CO.

Okay, the R$$$ population is about 22,000, with 3,000 CO$$$ jobs.

I don't have Sim City open right now...give me a few minutes.

Good idea, N_O_Body! Thanks. P.S. Nice avatar.

I have avenue and highway connections with two other cities, and the taxes for CO $$$ is at 0, but I don't have rail connections. Maybe that would help. Thanks

Sorry, I forgot to mention that nearly the entire map already has very high desirability.

I have a demand of about 5000 or so of CO $$$; I've zoned a lot of high-density commercial; I know that the sims need more jobs because I constantly see the no job sign above houses/apartments; I have a small international airport, but no new offices are forming at all, not even the small ones. The city is new, with only 25,000 sims or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Lol! Thanks a lot!

Now, I'm sure this question has probably been asked multiple times in the forums, but is there any way to get rid of landfills that are alrady being used? Any response would be appreciated. Thanks
