  1. i'm sorry, i just tried your mod recently but it doesn't seem to work. it did affect my population by age graph, but the # of students in my schools are still the same, and they still decrease down to just 8 or so students from about 200. strangely though my library usage shot way up.
  2. Weather Mod

this is a really great mod, but do you think you could make the rain effects denser? it looks way too sparse especially when you're zoomed in
  3. Driveable Vehicles

hey swamper, would you mind if i took a shot at making those busses? i have a few ideas for them that i'd like to try out, if that's ok with you.

Tired of seeing only Porsche and Lamborghini supercars driving around your city? Give them some competition with the Ferrari 550 Maranello. File contains five 550's in different colors; they are UDI enabled and do not replace any default vehicles. Credit goes to mikeseith for his tutorial on creating new driveable vehicles. Hope you enjoy!
  5. Driveable Lamborghini Diablo

johnb: it drives as fast as the in game Countach.
  6. Driveable Lamborghini Diablo

the car in the game is the Lamborghini Countach, and only comes in one color. i made this to add more variety to the super cars. also if you compare them side by side, you'll notice there are many differences between the two cars.

the Italian supercar comes to SimCity! this .dat file contains 5 Lamborghini Diablos in different colors; adds traffic variety to your city and doesn't replace any default vehicles. also features pop-up headlights at night. credit goes to mikeseith for his tutorial on creating new UDI vehicles.
  8. i was wondering, before any interest is lost on the underpasses, wouldn't it be possible to make the base texture on the terrain that covers the underpass transparent, so that the model could be seen through the terrain? if you load the el-rail to sub transition in the lot editor (called Utils4x1_LightRailSubway) you'll notice that in the part where the track goes underground, the base texture there is completely white and does not show up in-game, therefore allowing the model underneath to be seen. i was thinking it might be possible to do the same thing for the underpasses.
