This certainly is promising!! Plus it's coming from Paradox Interactive!! -
I've been a member for seven years and never thought Simtropolis would have grown to what is today. Granted I'm not progressively active, I occansionaly download and check out the latest "news". I would like to thank Dirk and all the other members who made this site into what it is today. Let's keep it rolling!!!

First Image of SimCity 5, from German magazine GameStar

I'm a little speculative. Although, there are some strong signs from other sources that have pick up on this that it's almost believeable to be SimCity 5. I'm hoping for the best!! -
Maybe he should focus on making SimCity 5...

Does this mean a new Maxis SimCity 5 is in the works?... You are correct "Area 49" it does redirect you to this facebook page.

Here is a very small portion of my very big region dubbed "Great Plains". Total region population of a little over 1.1 million. The Barkley-Morefield Metropolitan Area is one of the biggest in the region.

Weather for Brookings in east-central South Dakota on Thurs. September 8. Mostly clear with patchy AM fog and a high of 77, wind out of the north/northeast at 5-8 mph. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?site=fsd&zmx=1&zmy=1&map.x=207&map.y=46 Next seven days, what do you know the same mostly sunny average high of roughly 76. And of course as usual flooding is continuing on the James River even though, it has been since the early spring snowmelt. The James takes along time to drain, so for the past two years it has been flooding non-stop. http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/NaturalHazards/view.php?id=51578

WOW, now that is extremely realistic, I still see that on a daily basis here in South Dakota.

For me I guess it's a good thing I live right in the middle of a continent (in South Dakota), no tsunamis here. The only earthquake I've only felt here was in 2002 that was a 4.3 and even though the epicenter was 135 miles southwest of me, there was a bit of shaking going on for about 1 min or so, but caused very minor damage. I just sure hope that the death toll doesn't keep rising in Chile.

Originally posted by: mentarman I don't think it ever was too available in physical form in many places.quote> Nope, this game isn't sold in stores (at least here in the US), although i'm only speaking for my little area of the world. Here in South Dakota (and i'm sure North Dakota as well), I know it isn't or wasn't availble in ANY stores, not even at BestBuy or Walmart. Both their website didn't even have the game in their online 'inventory'. So I had to buy it online from Monte Cristo, which I usually perfer not to do. I think this is one of the main reasons why they had to cancel the Planet Offer, a poor marketing strategy on their part, but this isn't really the place to discuss this. If I were you i would just wait until this new "patch/game" or whatever you want to call it comes out.

This past October I experienced my first ride over this fairly new interchange, while on "vacation" to a sporting event at Missouri State Univesity. At first I didn't even notice what was going on until we were crossing the bridge in the opposite side of normal traffic side inside the charter bus. For a moment I was wondering what the hell was going on when we were going across the bridge. It wasn't until I got to the hotel room, where they were showing off their new interchange in the city's little informational booklet. This is a promising new design that we could see more of in the future.

Out of the Cities i've been to. 1) Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro, the same reasons why everyone else loves the city 2) Washington DC, without the capital the city wouldn't even be here 3) Rochester, Minnesota 4) Portland, Oregon 5) Sioux Falls, South Dakota (and of course my hometown!!! There is plenty of things to do here...until you've done everything)

I hardly even watch the "Syfy" Channel anymore, ever since they pulled the plug on Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and Farscape. It seems like basically everytime I switch to the SciFi Channel (that's right the SciFi Channel!!) it's either Ghost Hunters, Lost, Scare Tactics or wrestling on. Don't get me wrong there are some true science fiction shows on such as Stargate Universe, Caprica, Sanctuary and Eureka.

Unfortunately I haven't been outside the United States (live in South Dakota). The only place I would probally actually visit here in the near future would probally be Canada either in Winnipeg or over in Alberta somewhere. It's not that I don't want to go visit anywhere, I just haven't had the opportunity to travel overseas quite yet!!!! ;(
