Meastro ... I like that Idea. I could also make a water treatment plant, that cleans the water before it goes into the river, or ocean.

With Daddyo's permission I made and am uploading this Menu Management Lot for his Custom Beach set. Credit goes to Andreas Roth and the BSC for developing the methods that made Menu Management Lots possible. Dependiencies: Custom Beach Set of course! The original files ARE NOT in this download. This has a self installer. USE Place the construction lot in your city, and the other beach lot icons will appear after a few days of game time (this could take a game month). -
buddy, you do awsome work. I look forward to more of your files. You make me want to work ever harder on my stuff Becca

I downloaded the program, read the read me file (before doing anything else), updated everything as instructed, and ... it works GREAT!! What I don't understand is why it is so hard for most people to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!! Something else, having two monitors is definantly a plus with this program Becca

UPDATE: After learning how to do Menu Management Lots, I redesigned and updated the ditches, and I have now alreleased the MML for them.

The Chat Logs: sometimes humor at its best
RebaLynnTS replied to greyveil's topic in Community Goings-on
Well, that chat was amazing, wish I had been there. For the record, neither SG1 nor Atlantis has been cancelled. The sci fi channel always divides their seasons into two parts. Part one starts in June, and lasts about 10 weeks, then they show reruns until January. Part two of the season then runs (starting in January) for about 12 weeks, then reruns until June. Becca PS. BEARDS? Yukk! I can promise I'd never kiss him -
simpeg-forum-threads Becca up to BAT
RebaLynnTS replied to RebaLynnTS's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
I'm back! Sorry I was gone so long, but I had some health problems that needed tending to. I am, back, hard at work on the LA River Project, and plan to update all my old files as well. There are a few changes I want to make, especially in reguards to textures. -
The ditches are now posted. I still have a lot of work to do on the river pieces, and on the stream pieces, so I will get them done as quickly as I can.
-
Do to things beyond my conrol, I was not able to post the ditches yesterday as planned, fear not, they are going up in about an hour. Becca

Here is the latest look at the ditches, I will be posting them on Thursday.

My second car and passenger doesn't work!
RebaLynnTS replied to DioAngel's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
If you are expecting the ferry to go from one station to the next, I am pretty sure they have to both be of the same type, and they must be needed. -
I will be at doctors visits for the first part of the week, so look for something new on thursday.

The project is not dead, just had to be put on hold for a while because of health issues. I am going to dust it off and work on it again soon. I am about ready to post the small diches. And will be able to do the rest after a bit of a refresher. I am sorry I was gone so long. Becca

I have not made much progress in the last week, as I was ill. I'll see if I can get a new pic up soon.

Date: 1/26/2006 8:41:00 AM Author: DJGspinNhitz Just an off the wall thought, but maybe a transitions piece from one of the canal or stream set where the water goes from clean to dirty. maybe an end piece that show the water spilling into the in game water or into a swamp. I think Lynks made some swamp plant props. Just ideas since water obviously don't start off that way and has to goes somewhere. BTW awesome job!!! GQ quote> All great ideas, if I don't get them in the first release, I will get them in an update. Thank you all for the well wishes, I am feeling better now. As far as the bridges, I need to learn to do some more things before I can get them to work, but I plan to do them.

I have been a bit ill lately so it is taking a few days longer than expected to finish this up.

Date: 1/20/2006 9:25:43 PM Author: snoogans27 Have you thought about adding maybe some graffiti to the larger pieces? I think that would look pretty kool. Anyways keep up the great work You must have missed where I said I wanted to do that It would just be helpful if I could find some premade ones, or have someone make some for me.

I am very close to a release on this. I am working on textures for the diagonal pieces, and doing 2 pieces to take care of elevation change. I have the pieces designed, just need to work on the prop families for them.
-
I'd recomend offering both corner pieces in your download, so the user can decide which they like. If there is anything I can help with, as far as explaining how to do certain things, like prop families or lighting, feel free to PM me.
