  1. how much time have this game taken off your hands? i guess something like 100 hours so far n developed 3 cities to what u can call success state with big money surplus. but i did messed up before on placement layout n pollution n all n had to start from scratch. n the learning curve n all even after consulting wikia n youtube stuff. n after 3 sucessful cities, i might stop a while. cuz this game can really be time consuming. cuz u don;t always have free time n pulling time from other stuff n putting it in this, don't think i can do that for long unless maybe i'm retired or something.
  2. how to raise demand for high tech?

Seriously ... Dear friend this type of stuff only discourage the desire to help newbies so a best action in this case would be to follow a famous quote ... If there is nothing useful to say silence is the best suggestion. Hope it helped! i'm sorry if you took offense. i'm a beleiver in freedom of speech i suppose. but i stand by my honest opinion. that prima guide was too much to read. and i skimmed it and saw nothing useful pertaining to my topic. i 'm a big beleiver in simplifying. it seems in this case that what iis in the guide on high tech can be simply summarized in a few sentences. and i was inquiring on actual experience on how to's . i mean people can link me to a guide. i guess i value talking to a person rather than a book if that makes sense. let me put it this way: if i'm asking on people's experiences and you link me to a book, i be like . now would that face be a surprising reaction. i find it sometimes, you have to be blunt and make your point even if it mean you appear rude to others. but of course everything is up to case by case basis. i hope people can understand.
  3. how to raise demand for high tech?

thanks for the "key words" suggestion. didn't work so well though in search engine. but i did a "high tech" key word search in the uneditable pdf guide, there weren't much i didn't already know in terms of how to get high tech and so on. but there were some useful prerequiste info on special buildings. appreciate the attempt but nothing really that important and new to add to my sc4 knowledge .
  4. how to raise demand for high tech?

ok well i suppose everyone has different management technique. i like to highlight in different colors to make important information stand out better. it's harder to search through more important information if everyhting looks the same. i hope my point is clear. i can apply thsi feature to Word stuff. why do they lock it in first place if they wanna share the information? hmm... i guess that can't be helped...
  5. how to raise demand for high tech?

thanks for the guide. but it's locked from editing even with a pdf editor. is there a way to unlock? not convenient for easier reading.
  6. how to raise demand for high tech?

finally got about 1500 surplus in normal size land block with all hi-tech , most services, and with no mod. but still take quite bit more work than developing a commerical city though.
  7. how to raise demand for high tech?

is the i-ht fix like a patch or mod? can you point me where to get it? this is an old game after all. i just installed some update package... well the thing is my pollution and garbage is low. i export my garbage. and no pollution industry. the neighbor max out on commerical and that work out very well, i got an airport in that one and the high tech demand is like max out there. so the target high tech city before the commerical neighbor developed stop having high -tech demand 1/3 into the fullness. so the neighbor trick the only one i tested that worked so far. you guys got high tech demand to keep going without any demand drawing from neighbor?
  8. the only way i fgure out to do this is not use any demand in a neighbor and then the intended city for high tech get the demand boost . the population and education was provisioned as well in the neigbhor and building space was pretty much maxed out. is this the only way? i consulted gamefaq's faqs but they were limited in advise in this area.
