I think the new Simcity is fine as it is, apart from the City size.

I agree. What scares me is if they don't sell enough copies. This new Sim City has tons of potential.

Exactly. Plus there is a high chance for expansions and updates.

You guys also have to remember 2 things. 1. "Cartoonish" Graphics age way better than Realistic looking graphics. 2. The lack of "content" in the new Sim City that you guys are complaining about....ever think of expansions? I guarantee you they will come out with a ton of expansions that will add a lot of content that you are all asking for such as subways, etc...

I've been a fan of the Sim franchise for over 10 years now and this new Simcity seems to be a big jump from its predecessor. I think most of the "hardcore" Simcity 4 fans are being stubborn tbh. I mean, I get that terraforming is gone but that's really only one disadvantage. All of the new features outweigh terraforming from being able to customize your buildings by adding more helicopter pads to your police building or more garages to house more firetrucks to city specialization. I think most "hardcore" simcity fans don't realize that we are in an online era. Almost every game made now-a-days has online functionality whether its co-op, multiplayer or online only. I really don't see what all the hate is about. I saw someone on the forums complaining a few months ago about how he wouldn't be able to play the new Simcity on the train. I LoL'd. Really? You can't come up with anything better? Who is going to whip out a laptop on a train to play simcity? Isn't that what the Iphone's apps were made for? Maybe I'm missing something but it just seems like since they didn't decide to make a Simcity 4 HD you guys have your panties in a bunch. /endrant
