Hi Guys Any Idea why I would be getting the no water symbol across a certain part of my city? I have no other issues else where on my region and I have not installed any mods either

Thanks for the replies it was due to polluted water - I added another 2 treatment plants, as for some reason i cannot stretch the pipes across from one island to another. Has anyone else had this?

HI I am looking to implement the extra cheat dll file, as I would like to incorporate the no power cheat. A few questions to any one who may of used this: 1) If I use this, does it mean I can run my citites without the need for power stations therefore reducing pollution 2) Will my buildings show the no power symbol 3) will my buildings not flourish as well with this cheat on Thanks for you assistance

Hi Guys I have a sunken railroad and I would like to have a road/bridge over this, but for some reason it does not let me. From what I can see the land is flat either side, it just appears like below.. What am I doing wrong?

Hi I have go to the stage where my once careful planning of a city has gone to pot.... I have housing zones where I now need space for motorways and/or railroads and i have business zones where I now want housing. My question is, what effect will it have on my City in demolishing an entire zoned area and changing it to another - I want to basically relocate my inhabitants to the area. Is this possible? Thanks

HI Guys I have run into a problem which I cannot seem to shake off. My first city/town is doing well, I have a modest amount of housing zones, Commercial (although there are vacant blocks) and industrial. However as I am only using a small elementary school, my population requires a larger one. So up pops my assistant and informs me I need a larger one. I add this in, and then add more housing as i am told there is demand for people to come to my town, I then add a small amount of Commercial and Industrial zones for the new people, my money then seems to get sucked away, I try and balance my incoming and outgoings, but it doesn't matter how much I tinker, increasing taxes reducing expenditure I run out of money. Where am I going wrong? Thanks

HI Everyone Getting into this game for the first time, and have read up loads on this site and have downloaded loads of additional stuff from here. I am loooking to replicate a 4/5 towns where I live (they are almost merged into one) and will be using good ol' google maps to aid me. My Question is, will setting my city in the same way as in real life work... i.e shops near residential, and airport near residential work as it does in real life.. or will it only work in zones that are seperated? I hope that makes sense

Not a silly question at all. Some have grown up, so to speak with the modding and don't realize how confusing and overwhelming it all can be until we get our bearings. As long as your system can handle it and the plugin is installed or placed in the proper folder, as Nonny stated, you can add new content anytime and the next time you start SC4 it will be available. Well yes a good point, another question, I take it that I can download a new Lot (for example) at any time during my creation and once I load up SC4, it will be available - a silly question I know, but just need clarification
