  2. Date:6/12/2004 2:25:02 PM Author:Equinox Hi ... I'm reorganizing my favorites and I got quite sidetracked again ... where can I get this particular SOMY lot? http://kamurai.itspy.com/bbs/data/simedit/old/log6/1082546632229804/001.jpg Looks pretty freaking cool and should cover the whole region in terms of patient capacity! Also ... on the first post of this thread there is a picture of a driving range ... where can I get that one, as well? EDIT: ooh, and this one too! http://hide-inoki.com/bbs/levbbs/data/1085674311440076/himezizyou2.JPG quote> Himeji Castle: http://hide-inoki.com/bbs/levbbs/data/1085674311440076/himezizyou.zip (on the same page you referenced, right above the picture) Driving Range: http://kamurai.itspy.com/bbs/data/simedit/old/log6/1083128182588635/golf%20garden.zip Big Hospital: http://somy.gozaru.jp/simbat/hospital01.zip
  3. Date:6/12/2004 2:12:35 PM Author:J.O. Where did you get thoose? (direct link please ) quote> Here: http://www.geocities.jp/ad19040527/ Click the pictures to download. You may need the props shown in the first two sets of pictures. There are way too many lots here (multiple pages) for me to list all the direct links.
  4. At Sim City Force , you will find pictures of a secret military base laboratory and a Japanese-style pedestrian bridge. You can download the lab (and other similar lots) here , and the bridge here .
  5. Date:6/8/2004 9:32:29 AM Author:Odainsaker From what looks like another album gallery, I stumbled on an image of Tokyo Station! Gallery at http://www.wotax.net/simcity/gallery/ Thread at http://www.wotax.net/simcity/gallery/sc4rh11/130304_G?full=1 quote> The creator writes that it is not finished yet but will have (only) 8 platforms. I'm looking through these galleries but there are almost no links to files. I will post here if I find a link to this lot file.
  6. Date:6/7/2004 11:03:02 PM Author:Mexicanboy13r Does anyone know if the ampm and mini stop are growable? width=1 border=0>http://geocities.yahoo.co.jp/serv?s=382116061&t=1086663218 width=1> quote> If you mean those on this page: http://www.geocities.jp/sim4mamo/2004mk_bat_lot_001.htm It says there that there are landmark and commercial lots. I suppose that means you get one of each.
  7. Official BAT Request Thread

Date:6/6/2004 1:36:22 PM Author:SteveeD Hi again ....and here is a pic of a tank farm with solid roofs instead of 'floating' roofs and check out this site for more inspirations for refinery and chemical complexes http://www.photovault.com/Link/Industry/ProcessingRawMaterials/Oil/IPOVolume02.html Again thanks Stevequote> How about this? 9. Date:6/7/2004 4:12:11 AM Author:jacqulina i would like to say the japanese lots are fantastic please could you tell me armandeos where i can download some parks gardens and homes from thankyouquote> Go here . Instructions on what to do there are in my 2nd post on page 4 of this thread. More here . Some houses here . The monorail station that Sepsis found is unfinished and still buggy, according to what the creator wrote next to the pictures on that page. He doesn't recommend downloading it yet. There's a new safari park on this site .
  10. Get a secret underground military base, a military patrol station, and a communications tower (in that order) here . Download links are written in English below the pictures.
  11. Date:6/6/2004 9:51:17 PM Author:newyorkrunaway1 thats not what i asked. i asked where are the buttons you click on this site to download the good lots. the lots you and almost everyone else, arent really that good. you 'read a little more carefully.' quote> First, you said these buildings, not the good lots. Reread your post. Second, what is and what isn't a good lot is subjective. How am I supposed to know what you think a good lot is? Third, buttons? What is wrong with text links? Fourth, it is obvious here who is the selective reader, and it's not me. I would appreciate it if you would refrain from making inflammatory comments, thank you.
  12. Date:6/5/2004 7:13:05 PM Author:newyorkrunaway1 i just read through this entire forum, but no one told where on the page to click to get these buildings. can someone help me out, and also, when is simtropolis going to be working again. it goes down al the time quote> Please read again more carefully. I know that I gave direct clickable red links to files, and several other people gave links too.
  13. New Japanese lot alert! European-style rail terminal. Stats: transit enabled 4 X 5 lot (bus prop shown, but lot is not a bus stop) placement 300 monthly cost 30 demolition 200 passengers 4000 Made by Zenryaku Picasso EDIT: Go here: http://www.geocities.jp/z_picasso/lot_bat/lot_bat.htm and click the blue text in the bottom right to get the lot. You can also find a park with an 88 mm cannon made by Boku Gmax here .
  14. Ragutaro's SC4Hex is now available in a full-English version! The Readme is also in English. Download here ! The problem pointed out by Tropod is presumed to have been due to the Japanese fonts used, and should be fixed.
  15. The admin of Sim City Force has just put up an article about Simtropolis, our interest in Japanese lots, and how to upload here. Maybe we can expect more Japanese lots in the LEX soon! Here is a machine translation of his announcement.
  16. The Cobb Europa

Scarily massive. (Meaning very good indeed.)
  17. Official BAT Request Thread

This may be less of a BAT thing, and more of a texture/lot request, but I think it is a good one: A beach (without resource-hogging seagulls) that has a transparent sand area, so that the sandy area of the terrain shows through, and the beach does not create an ugly square patch under the water. This beach should replace the default one, and should be easier to place (less finicky) than that one too. Please!
  18. Date:6/2/2004 7:14:07 AM Author:natnatann And to the person who was after this. It's downloadable here 'http://members8.tsukaeru.net/somy/p1.htm', however it is in a exe file. quote> Somy has made all his lots at that page downloadable again! And the lots on his other pages are downloadable too! Not only that, but he added lot names in English! Thanks, Somy!
  19. Translation of the other tabs in SC4Hex: Tab name: convert to base 16 First box: type of conversion, base 10 to base 16, string to base 16 Second box: text string Left box: entrance to lot Same box, left column: pedestrian, car, bus, train, truck Same box, right column: freight train, subway, el-train, monorail Right box: exit from lot Same box, column items are the same as the left box Check box in the middle: Set transit changes within the lot to 0x00 Bottom right button: copy The author says he will translate the readme file. It will take a few days, so please be patient. When that is done, he will offer an English version. I have told him about the problem that Tropod reported. Download link for the Japanese version of SC4Hex is here . Download for the water texture DAT I mentioned is here .
  20. Date:6/2/2004 5:49:45 AM Author:Tropod Is there anyway to translate the ReadMe file at all, that comes with the program? The 'Unknown' item is most likely the unfinished 'dirtroad' network that Maxis left in the games files [the 'dirtroad' name is the official Maxis name used in the games files]. I am still curious; Also, could you still possibly ask if an English version/adoption is possible at all somehow? It would just require some label changes I would think? It would just make things a whole lot easier. Thanks! quote> I asked. I'm waiting for a reply. Hmm. I downloaded the program, and my LotConfig tab looks exactly like the screenshot I posted above. There was no pulldown menu.
  21. Date:6/2/2004 6:36:03 AM Author:Alkaola Wow congrads Armandeus, very good! This is a very good thing. Contact with the japanese's guys is amazing! we can work together to make our city's better and more beautiful! quote> Thanks, Alkaola!
  22. Date:6/2/2004 5:18:08 AM Author:Tropod Armandeus; I have a request, if you could; Regarding the 'SC4Hex' program Site: http://hide-inoki.com/ Zip file found here: http://hide-inoki.com/works/sc4/sc4hex.zip Info found here: http://hide-inoki.com/sc4/howto/sc4hex.htm Could you find out some information about the above program? I have actually downloaded and have had a look at the program, but don't know a word of Japanese. I have a fairly good idea what it does, and it is why I am interested in it, especially the 'Transit Enable' section. We have the tools to do this, but we don't have anything like this SC4Hex program. If an English version/adoption could be done, that would be fantastic! quote> What a coincedence. I just posted the answer to your questions about an hour ago on the Tutorial to transit enable your lots thread! If there is any part I missed translating (there are 3 tabs to the program), please post a screenshot on that thread and I will translate the text.
  23. Date:6/2/2004 4:47:33 AM Author:rybolton Must have missed that post. Thanks Armandeus. I'll talk with Dirk in the morning about trying to get a dialog started with Ragutarosan.quote> You're welcome. Here is the page (at Sim City Force) that I referred to where there is a complete explanation in Japanese of how to use Simtropolis (from registering to uploading). http://homepage2.nifty.com/kamurai/simcity/world/simtropolis.htm May I be so bold as to ask if I might receive the distinction of receiving a little text title under my avatar saying Official Japanese Liaison? Edit: Wow! That was fast. Thank you! I am honored.
  24. Date:6/2/2004 4:41:17 AM Author:rybolton Date: 6/2/2004 4:35:05 AM Author: I received a reply from Ragutaro, the admin of http://hide-inoki.com/ . Here is the translation: Good evening, Armandeus. I am the admin of this site, Ragutaro. I read the Simtropolis thread you pointed out (this thread). As a member of the Japanese SimCity community, I am happy that this site, Sim City Force, and others are receiving attention from overseas. Simtropolis is, for us, a very important site and source of information. Until now this relationship has been mostly one-way, but now we have the opportunity to make a world-wide contribution. However, the language barrier is a big problem. It's no problem just to rename a lot in English, but registering and uploading at Simtropolis requires a lot of English skill, and this might be a big psychological hurdle, especially for the younger ones among us. I'd like to help out as much as I can, but I'm afraid I'm very busy with my site. However, I would like to help by answering questions at my site about how to upload at Simtropolis, and questions from Simtropolis about those lots featured on my site. Thanks. quote> This is wonderful, can anyone help him out with a good translated tutorial of how to upload to our exchange? Armandeus?quote> I have already done that in my initial post on his BBS. You can check my earlier post on this board for a translation of exactly what I posted there. Edit: What I posted can be found at the bottom of the fourth page of this thread.
  25. Date:6/1/2004 11:36:15 AM Author:Corlian Starting today, all those lots now have seawalls. At least, that's what it seems like on the website. Don't forget that there are links on the bottom of that page to several other pages of ports, ships, and sea walls, including the SS Simtanic !
