Well, First of all, Welcome to the site. About your problem, i can't guarentee I'll be great help, haven't worked with this stuff in a while, but one tidbit of info I can offer is make sure your plugins folder (the C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4\Plugins one) is empty of all other mods when your trying to play Sim Mars, put them back in and remove Sim Mars when you want to play normal Sim City. Um, that's about all I can really think of, if it still doesn't work, post here again or email/pm me and I'll try to help you out.

Well, first I must say that I think this by far my favorite thread on this website, so i'd like to thank Dev for starting it and SkiGeek for moderating it. As for my opinion, well, I'm Hindu by birth, I've gone through Catholic Schooling all my life, and I am now Agnostic. I chose to be agnostic for many reasons. The main one I see, the main problem with most major religions, is the fact that we personalize God as something humanistic in a way, who cares about humans. In a Universe as massive as ours, can we truly believe we are the only intelligent life there is? And since there must be some sort of life out there, does God care for them any less then He cares for us. In the grand scheme of things, we don't matter, it's a simple, though depressing, fact. All 6 Billion of us could die right now, and not a single creature in this Universe would shed a tear. I think it is brutally egotistical of us as a Species to think that God would spend so much time on one part of his creation when there is so much around us that is equally, if not more, brilliant and magnificiant. We consider life a miracle, and in many aspects it is, but no more a miracle then Gravity, then Matter, then Magnatism. It simply exists, just like all the things stated. When people ask where God came from, we are told that he has always existed, infinite. But then, why do we need to go to that step. Can we not think of the Universe itself as infinite, or atleast cyclic, always expanding then contracting then expanding again, forever and ever. Do we need to go the extra step to say it came from something. I guess what I'm saying is that God does not need to exist, and I come back to the fact that is horribly egotistical of us to think he exists and we are his favorite creation. We've only existed for 4 million years, a infinitaley small amount of time when compared to the universe around us, and in a blink of an eye we can be destroyed, just like so many species before us. To me, religion is a phase for humanity, something we will eventually grow out of. It provided us with something that made early humans behave well, it was a tool for law makers to make sure people followed there instructions, or else God would punish them, God was humanity's Boogie Man. Eventually we will not need our Boogie Man and we will discard it, just like we discard it as a child. I know it seems harsh, but if you look at the cold facts, it seems acceptable too. Simply my opinion though, and yea, it's a bit all over the place, just sort of typed what came to my head. Yet again I would like to say what a great thread this is, can't wait to keep reading the Replies. G4ce

Hurricanes die out very quickly, by the time it gets to Canada atleast we expect nothing but rain and mild winds. As for New Orleans, it's problems have just begun, it was spared a bit, the hurricane shifted east a tad, but it's still got massive problems. Flooding has caused massive problems and probably destroyed many homes. Also it has made the water pretty much untouchable, it's full of bacteria and stuff now from sewers overflowing. The city may live through this, but how long will it be before the city can be habitted again, and how many citizens will return? It'll take a hell of a lot of work to clean that city up, I guess all we can do is sit back and wait.

AH, best memories..... I remember I spent like almost the whole day in chat that day waiting for #10 000, and I left to grab some food for like 10 min and BAM! we were at 10 001 . Ah well, good times. (I took that pic the next day, we actually hit 10k on August 13th)

That's a great idea, you're right, we are going to need a lot of small buildings, give it a shot

Wow, first of all, lonaryl, I can't believe you said there is no truth, only perception, that was awesome, good boy. For we are brought up being told what to believe, and so if we were told differently then we would believe differently, it's the whole COlumbus vs. the natives scenario. Columbus viewed the natives as savages that hadn't embracced Christ, the savages viewed themselves as good people, who was right? well, we can't say because in each person's perception they were right and we are judging them with our own perception which is also flawed and bias. Alright, that was my little off topic rant to get us all happy and nice, and thinking, wow this G4ce kid is super cool, and I think i shall give myself a bunny/ducky combo for it, good boy G4ce . Ok now, I can't believe this whole thing started over a signature, the straw that broke the camels back perhaps? Anyway, yea, his sig isn't even that bad, until people brought it up, i didn't even notice, if you don't like how big a sig is, simple solution, Don't read it! Tadda! Problem solved! As for it taking up bandwith/space, come on, let's get serious here, there are so many things that should be restricted before lengthy sigs, which might i add in this case only contains text. My sig takes up more space than his does. Unless there's something about computers and servers that i do not, which could be the case, my knowledge of the computer and internet world is quite limited. But I do not think there is, so if Cjah must remove his sig I shall remove mine as well, for it is only fair. Now Rude boy, don't think i'm all on your side now, I'm on no one's side on this issue, though i agree with some of the points everyone has stated. There are some people out there that yes, bully little newbies who don't know what they're doing. But, this is a community of probably 10 000 active members, there are going to be some bad apples, some mis communication ,some outbreaks of verbal abuse, that cannot be helped. As Mr.Cinatit said, we are but imperfect humans, we make mistakes. And I Do Not At All Agree that for one mistake, a moderator should be stripped of his/her powers. Everyone has they're bad days, and it's bound to happen that they too have a straw that broke they're back. Repeat offenders, well, I have faith that the Admin will deal with them appropriately. I can't say i agree with every decision that any moderator has made, but i can't say i disagree with all of them either. It's all perception. You say tomato, i say tomato (that saying just doesn't work as well in type does it ) Now, you have some great spirit there kid, the world outside Simtropolis could use you, i have no doubt about that. It could use us all. The great Gandhi himself started by seeing injustices in the world and trying to correct them, this might be your calling. There are enormous problems in the world we live in, try and use u're support for the oppressed in these cases. I remember my religion teacher (I'm a hindu atheist who goes to a catholic school, how do you like that )once said A great tragedy happened on September 11, 2001. 50 000 people around the world starved to death on that very day. But the biggest tragedy of all, is that, on September 12, 2001, another 50 000 people starved to dead, and not one of us cared. Now, this is a calling worth fighting for, worth challenging authority for, maybe even worth dying for. So I, like many of your supporters here say, Fight on Rude Boy, but not these small petty battles in this little piece of the web, but for the lives of those people who really do have no one to fight there battles, who are truly oppressed and have no voice. 50 000 yesterday, 50 000 today, will we let tommorow be the same? Well, that's my rant, and i've gone way off-topic, and for that i humbly ask your forgiveness. But seriously children, there are bigger problems out there, let's get over it and unite in something worthwhile for a change. That's it for me. Peace out And God bless these two
