This is my first submission. I am glad to receive feedback and critics for improvements. This is a map of Northern Switzerland, inclunding the accurate reproduction of the cantons Aargau, Zurich and zug. It has been generated with official coordinates from the Swiss government. To generate the visual heightmap from the xyz coords I developped a little .Net Tool that performs this task and outputs a bitmap. The water has been drawn by hand into the heightmap with Photoshop. Further editings have been made with the SimCity Landscape Designer. The map is interesting because of its many and accurate rivers and lakes. The most prominent beeing the biggest sideriver of the Rhine, the Aare with it's own siderivers. The map features also great parts of the Lake of Zurich and the Lake of Zug.
