Hi everyone! It's sometimes hard to express your feelings in writing. Therefore missunderstandings can occur. A this is the wrong forum answer might upset you but the member posting such a response maybe didn't mean to offend you. I guess the are great to let someone know your feelings. Do we need the ? lonaryl asked if only moderators should correct peoples post, I would like to know that too. I try to help as many noobs as possible, guiding them right on Simtropolis and I wish to continue do that. My opinion: If you feel upset about someones mistake in posting, just don't post a reply if you're going to give them a hard time. Sooner or later someone will come along and help them in a nice way.

The Moose Factory (virtual Bar & Grill)
the_crispbread_witch replied to A Nonny Moose's topic in General Off-Topic
I want to get miffed too! Ever since I searched on dictionary.com.... Miffed adj : aroused to impatience or anger; Then there's this example: felt really pissed at her snootiness Hmmm... -
This have been talk about ever since the game was released. To sum it up: Some say that the game will never run perfect with highest settings, even if you have the mother of all computers. Some say that it runs smooth on their 256mb, 64mb graphics card and 1 Ghz processor. General advise: 1024mb of RAM 256mb graphics. To read more about this: 1024mb vs. 512bm of RAM Who has good machine specs???

That's a really cosy little village. Excellent work. But the palm trees look a bit... weird... =) The forest, just wow, the mix of trees makes it look simply beautiful! And welcome to page nine!

Hi Roketti I belive we need some more info about the bats you've downloaded. Most things have dependencies, if you haven't heard that word before, well... you can live with it, can live without it. Most buildings need props to work ok. When you download a building, read the read me to see which props you need. You also need some stuff from simcity.com to get the bats to work. Some bedtime reading: Greyveil's Newbie Help Thread: Getting Up and Running A Quick Guide on Missing Props on Lots Map rendering Instructions Btw, I enjoyed reading your post, nicely written.

Cycledoggs terrain mod
the_crispbread_witch replied to ExiL3's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
mteach2000: I'm not sure if you're still having problems with the shoreline. I had the same problem when I removed the import mod file (a file used when rendering maps) from my plugin folder. A long shot but maybe it helps... SC4 meister: Try sending Cycledogg a pm. If no one else did that... -
Sometimes the map (the greyscale image) is not a 8 bit greyscale picture and then it won't work. Try another map to see if you're doing the other stuff right. It would be great if you spent an hour reading these threads, then you'll probably know everything about maps.... How to put a map into game, click here. Problems with bad pictures, click here. More about non-working maps on the STEX, click here. How to make your own map, click here. And finally, download the Landscape Designer here. Happy rendering!

:: dynasty :: A Shadow Assassin CJ
the_crispbread_witch replied to Shadow Assassin's topic in SC4 City Journals
Great stuff Shadow! I like this a lot! Nice work with city centre and the Marrast bus stop, I'll try that myself! The rail hub, does it work with the freight station at the end of the rail? First Landing, nice and green! Really like the diagonal farming. Well, I like alot in this cj! -
Great with a region pic! I'm pretty sure that airport will quite mindblowing! PS. Didn't know you could change the name of region, only city and mayor... But yes, Sculpting Coumbia River doesn't sound that good... =)
-
Hey, who needs roads anyway! =) I agree with your other visitors, looks so good! Very creative! Cool to see something different!
-
Cool region and I like the planning. But I wouldn't want to do a chicken race against a ship going into the port...
-
It looks really good! Hope it's ok to only look at the pictures without reading the story... Great graphics in pic 7.3! (I read that...) Keep it up!

Beautiful region! I'll keep an eye on it.

Great update! Very cool graphics, love the detour. Did they move the high school or just build a new one? Keep it up! Oh! And welcome to page 9!
