Ooooh, a high speed train going through Portland, OR? Oh, sure NOW they will, now that I don't live there anymore Here in Arizona I don't even think there is a railroad system anymore. There's a passenger station somewhere in Phoenix but it's been abandoned for about 20+ years. The Pacific Northwest has a great railway system (at least in comparison with the rest of the nation) , well last time I was there anyways. Particularly due to Amtrack's Cascade railroad service.

Heh, that sounds like a horrible idea. This is just another idea in a trend of over-sensitivity. I can understand loosening the restrictions if a student has a reasonable issue (for example,a learning disability) but otherwise a policy like this doesn't encourage students to do better, it encourages them to be lazy and get bad grades.
