Hi all, a bunch of new pics from my first city. Day 4: Night falls over the city. But not everybody seems to sleep, as some kids are still playing on the soccer field and... ... some students still need a lesson. After some problems with air pollution from my dirty industries I decided to give mysterious Dr. Vu and his dark companions a chance to boost high tech industries. They did not fail. As the sun rises over the city... ... new high-tech factories open all over the place. The new Solar power plant helps to reduce air pollution even further... ... and the skyline looks clear again. Finally a shot over the whole city. As I'm reaching 100k citizens and I don't want to squeeze more sims on this map, my next step will be to start a second specialized city in the region. I'm around 60k atm, building slow and trying to develop the city in steps. It peaked @ 70k, but after some high wealth sims stepped in, it dropped down a bit. At peak times I got some congestion, but it is manageable. I dropped a lot of bus stops around the city and this seems to help so far.

Hi all, while waiting another time to get into the game, I decided to do my first CJ ever showing you what I've been done so far (playing since the European release @ 7th of March). I decided to start in a small region to explore the game. So here are some random impressions of my 1st city. 1st day: Residential areas in the center of the town. The Town Hall and the Department of Education in the background. Another view towards the center. Small and medium local business. Some traffic around here. Cheers, Kai.
