I wouldn't have the patience to recreate any city, nevermind one as large as Edmonton. The road layout looks dead-on. Awesome work!

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees. Everyone who won deserved their awards, especially people like Ski, hello_SC4, MrCinatit, and dudy. They're all great members who deserved to win, and I consider them my friends here, and Simtropolis wouldn't be the same without all the great modders, BATters, chatters, admins, moderators, and others who keep SimCity and Simtropolis alive and well. And thanks for the Member Who Most Resembles The Award Statue Award, once again. I cherish that one the most, since it's my only Trixie this year. It's just great being nominated, so thanks to those who stuffed my name in the ballot box. Congrats to MayorVieira for the Best Forum Game Award and Aesthetically Pleasing City Award. You can thank me later for the original Mystery Building game and the map for Vera Cruz. Great job, everyone and I hope to be here accepting my Member Who Most Resembles The Award Statue Award next year. -
I rarely use this smilie, but... The Llama Song has to be the new theme song!

7/10. How greyscale. Panthersimcity4, *cough* 2-post rule! *cough* 2-post rule! Let's not let this happen again, alright?

7/10. What's with the 'Holla if you have a Dolla'? Just kidding.

Q: Why does a ton of feathers fall at the same velocity as a ton of bricks? A: A really big one. Simmax, no masking swear words.

Very thorough list, Duke, but my ego is growing bigger since I'm on the top of the list. I would put the admins on top, then the moderators, Modd Squad, BSC, and SimMars crew, then the rest. -
Climate change - Worse than Predicted
The_Dalai_Llama replied to villarule's topic in General Off-Topic
Global warming is a reality, but the human population is not to blame. We may have a very small effect on climates, but there's been a history of climate trends over the years. Europe went through a tiny Ice Age in the 1600s and in the 1000s, Vikings landed in Greenland; the island named because there was actually an abundance of green vegetation. We're experiencing a normal temperature change, not this drastic change that would wipe out huge chunks of the world. -

The update should be, maybe, hopefully will be out Wednesday. I hope it takes care of some the major issues. Right now, I'm only experimenting with the new coasters and rides, and trying to get the hang of pathbuilding and the new ride physics. Troggle, I recommend buying the game. Like LightWarrior said, there's only a few themes, but the ride selection is larger than the previous RCT. There are 80 rides, not including roller coasters (a few rides are duplicates, since a few rides go with the different theme styles). You have more control of the food and drink stalls, as well as the shops. You can control the amount of ice in a drink, or lemon, or which drinks to serve.

So far, the game is great, even with the 3 desktop crashes, particularly when placing water. I find it more difficult to control at the moment, but I'll get used to the controls in no time. The peep thing isn't going to help me out. I relied on that feature quite a bit. The selection of rides is just astounding. So much variety, plus you can ride them all. The CoasterCam isn't just for coasters. The graphics are better than expected, especially the lighting, and I really enjoy the landscape options, especially their water tool, much better than the previous versions. Heh, you can create lakes on hills if you'd like. Try that, SimCity! I haven't attempted the fireworks show, but as soon as I get the Prima guide, I'll give it a shot. So far, I give it 4 bunnies out of 5.

Never thought of posting a map. Neat innovation. Next city, maybe in Venezuela? Or Thailand? Trying both sides of the globe for this one.
-
Erfurt or Freiburg?
-
Racine, Wisconsin. Odd. The first city that popped in my head. How obscure.
