The structure of atoms is a theory, yes. But the fact that they exist is undeniable. Your argument is flawed. Atoms themselves are not theory, but religion is. I'm sorry, but thats the way it goes. Where is the hard evidence that God exists besides a 2000 year old book? I find it funny that in the face of undeniable scientific evidence people can still deny it and put things down to miracles. But if it makes you happy, then fine I guess.

@GB: Well, Pimp My Ride is actually funny, it's so ridiculous the stuff they do to the cars you have to watch it for it's entertainment value. As for YBF, it's like me going on YouTube and typing in "owned", but on TV, it's awesome! And as for the X Factor, I only watch the early stages when you get the rubbish people who think they are actually an amazing undiscovered act, and start yelling and shouting the odds when they get told they're crap. Hilarious.

Edinburgh isn't renowned for skyscrapers, but in this day and age any city that doesn't have skycrapers is behind. The new Platinum Point development on the waterfront is featuring pretty tall buildings, but the centre piece will be the 40 floor Edinburgh Waterfront Tower. You can see Arthur's Seat and the Castle silhouetted in the background. The castle is the reason there aren't many towers in Edinburgh, people don't want to spoil the skyline, and UNESCO is even trying to stop it from happening.

I fell out of love with the internet a year or so ago. It seemed like a great place at first. Fantastic database of information, meeting new people and have fun, play games etc. But I had a similar experience to you, Carpman. I ventured beyond my favourite sites and discovered it's actually a bad place. One things is that everyone has the chance to spread their views, even hateful ones. The other thing was the fact that there are many horrific sites out there. Thankfully I have never stumbled on a truly horrific one, but I have seen a few that casued me to lose my faith in the innocence of the web (namely one that had videos of people being killed in car accidents and beaten to death, never went back there). So I just avoid these sites, and occasionally I find one again, but I do my best to stay away from them, and I swim only in the familiar water.

Using this picture, you can see just how awesome it is to live in rural Scotland. Just look at the excitement on my face. Absolutely ecstatic.

Wii, maybe 360 if I had the money and wasn't such a devoted Nintendoid. Quite possibly in the future I could see myself getting a 360. Never ever in a million years would I buy a PS3, the games ARE sub-par, and for the price tag it is totally ridiculous. Who cares if it has more power then a freaking military computer, who needs that much processing power on a games console? No one. The games on Wii are wonderfully diverse. I'm sick of hearing people say "it's a kids console". You want action? Red Steel, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, in fact any of the other many Wii games that involve fighting... Nothing about Red Steel or Splinter Cell is childish. Legend of Zelda: TP is an awesome game, and may only appeal to a certain range of people (or so you may think), but that doesn't mean it isn't a fantastic game. The graphics are good enough, no one needs to be able to see every single grain of sand in perfect detail. The order I rank them in: Wii 360 not yet PS3

Nothing can subsititue for the perfect flavour and texture of a steak... MMMMM... I would never go veggie, I cannot live without meat, I eat meat every day, and going a week without it sounds like madness to me, but each to their own. I think being vegetarian is wrong also, because we have these sharp teeth with which to rip meat... not too crunch salad... Don't get me wrong, I love my veggies and my fruit, but living on it only without meat is like torturing my palate. Plus, I don't see how you can get vegetable substitutes for meat, eat meat or don't, just don't pretend that you are eating meat by buying vegetable sausages.

Scotland's system is a bit different. I got my Standard Grade (GCSE equivalent) results last year. It goes from 1 which is the highest to 7 which is a total fail. There are also intermediate subjects which use the system A - N/A with N/A being no award. D is a fail, but a better fail than N/A. This is my results form last year: English 1 Maths 1 Mod. Studies 1 Geography 1 German 2 Tech. Studies 2 Graphic Communication 2 Physics (Int. 2) C This year I sat Highers, the Scottish equivalent of A levels. It uses the same system as I explained for intermediates above. I got: English A Maths B Geography B Mod. Studies B Physics C These are very good results, I took 5 highers at 16, and most people in my year only took about 3-4 at 17. To have passed them all, and have been one of two people who got an A at English is a pretty damn good result I would say...

It might be caused by mirroring too. I found that messes up the textures sometimes. The mirror button next to the align button usually always does this. Going to Parametric Deformers > Mirror never does this, so try this. But what Cogeo suggested should fix it.

People like this should not be allowed to have children. I just can't believe that they said things like that. But the irnoy of them saying "they should go back where they came from and leave our country" is amusing. They are probably so dumb and close minded they don't even realise that it isn't their country. I agree with MayorTim, and hope they get evicted and sent to Compton.

I am an avid fan of the spy genre. Whether it be over the top but ultimately entertaining Bond movies, or realistic and gritty Splinter Cell games, I love them all. Which is why I loved the Bourne trilogy. I have only seen the movies, but I can tell that Robert Ludlum was not an Ian Fleming type guy, he knew that life as a spy or a secret agent wasn't all*****tail parties and beautiful women - it's surviving by the bare essentials, thinking from the top of your head, doing what ultimately needs to be done to get out alive. I had already seen Identity and Supremacy, and the critics were raving about this film. I found it hard to believe much could beat the edge of your seat scene in Supremacy when Bourne is battling through the streets of Moscow against an assassin in a Jeep in his small yellow taxi. And it was with this in mind that I saw the movie. First impressions were influenced by the fact that the film starts with a clever time flip. The end of Supremacy isn't where Ultimatum begins, there is a story between the Moscow battle and when he "visits" Pamela Landy in New York. A story that grossly affects Bourne. The use of this is very clever, it changes our opinion of Bourne from what it was at the end of the last movie, to something a bit different. All through the film, loose ends are gradually being tied up into a neat bow on top of the trilogy, finishing it up nicely. We learn neat little snippets of information that come together slowly and reveal everything we wanted to know about Jason from the moment we saw him floating in the sea at the beginning of Identity. Unfortuantely for some of the more action favouring viewers, this is done in slow conversations, that one must really be turned on to in order to gather this vital information. However, I cannot see how else they had done this, doing it over a shootout would not have had the same impact. Luckily, these slow moments are occasional, and are interspersed with intelligent action sequences. The action isn't as ridiculous as James Bond, no diving through the air firing guns as an explosion echoes behind our hero. No, it is totally believable and down to earth, and at the same time satisfying, maybe for this reason. The hand to hand combat with which the series has become synonymous is again very fast paced and exciting, it is easy to believe that the actors took months to choreograph the fight scenes. We seem to be in the room, watching the fight happen, frightened by the atmosphere, but excited by the action. The film wouldn't be complete without a car chase. Identity had Paris, Supremacy had Moscow, and Ultimatum gets New York, one heck of a place for a car chase. It is a very exciting piece of cinema, with cars weaving in and out of traffic, and without the James Bond style "avoiding everything in the road with a hair's breadth". We see the cruncing metal as a car (realisticly) fails to avoid a car in the road. And thankfully this is done without the triple somersault with the car landing perfectly and driving on without a scratch. The movie is a perfect ending to the series, loaded with just as much intelligence, action and excitement as the trilogy has promised this film. A satisfying conclusion is mixed in with the realism of it all, making this film a must for anyone remotely interested in thrillers and the trilogy, but my recommendation is to watch them in order, You can discuss the film here, and please tell me what you think of my review, it's my first try at reviewing a movie!
