I don't think I ever have. I've had to miss classes for dentist appointments and stuff a few times, but that's it. What's your favorite forum game?

Well I guess it would depend on a lot of factors - the size of the station, the sustainability, the amount of resources, the number of people... The concept sort of reminds me of the Axiom from WALL-E. I'm not sure, but I'm certain the answer would not be forever. If you were given the opportunity to be a part of the first Mars colonization mission, but you knew you could never return to Earth, would you do it?

I'm afraid I'm not sure what you're asking. If you're looking to get the Cities of Tomorrow expansion, you'll have to purchase it. As for unlocking everything, you can play in Sandbox Mode, which allows you to place any building you want. However, you can only enable this when starting a new region. I'm not familiar with SC'13 modding, so I don't know of any mods that unlock all the buildings, but there may be some out there.

C:S is killing me!!!
The Avatar replied to Iknownothing's topic in Cities: Skylines Technical Help Q&A
how do you check. An easy method is to open Steam, hover over your name at the top menu and select "content" from the drop-down list. On the content page, click on the "Workshop Items" tab and then scroll down and click on "Subscribed Items" on the right-hand side of the page. Then, at the top of the page, under your name, click on Cities: Skylines next to the "Filter by game" text. This will show you all the mods, assets, maps and color correctors you have downloaded. As BaskB said, the long loading time is probably primarily due to your assets. -
You have failed me. metarvo?

Is SIMCITY 2013 the end of it all?
The Avatar replied to SJ Mack's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Well, considering the fact that 1) the studio that developed SC'13, Maxis Emeryville, was closed down by EA, 2) the general response to the game not been very positive, and that 3) Cities Skylines has gained a reputation as a truer successor to previous SimCity games, yeah, I'd say SimCity is dead as far as updates and future series installments go. That's not to say that there aren't still people who play the game and continue to support it with mods, but the level of activity has certainly gone down recently - probably due to the popularity of Skylines. Whether this is a temporary or a permanent decline is yet to be seen, but I'd say there's a pretty common sentiment around here that SC can't compete with CS in the long run. Regardless, you should play whichever game you want to play. Personally, I find both games can be enjoyable in their own unique ways. To me, playing SimCity is like playing with a toy set - the experience just kind of feels like building a city with Legos, but it has its limitations. Playing Skylines feels more like I'm controlling a real city, with a greater level of detail and freedom, but the game still has its own flaws. CS has more expansive modding capabilities, but SC has multiplayer. In the end, it all comes down to what you like in a city builder. -
