You can also use SFBT Garbage Shipping instead of the zero funding plant. More expensive, but more fair, too.

You can create that folder from Terminal.app. Open terminal in the directory you need to create the folder, and try: mkdir .folder

You do realize that it's pretty hard to get working correctly, right? You might want to research the Mac port of Heroes V - that's exactly what they did.

What Mac do you have? Uninstall SC4, and seach the entire machine for asypr - look for the plist files for SC4 and delete them, too. Then try reinstalling and see if it runs at all on a new city - don't load any old citys and see if it works. I'm working fine using the Beta UB patch on a MacBookPro.

If you go to your plugins directory via the terminal, you can run this command: ls -R > plugins.txt This will create a plugins.txt file in your Plugins directory that you can look at to see every file you have installed. Here's an example of mine - I'm missing a farm texture of some sort and am trying to sort that out. Everything else I have works fine. plugins.txt

Note: Anyone with Parallels can run the installers there -> they work without SimCity 4 installed, and afterwards just copy the My Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins folder as appropriate.

But half the dependencies aren't linked anymore....
