The advisers: they order me to make roads where traffic is high, I uderstand that, and I make them there, but then they are mad 'cause there aren't enough streets only roads. They speak agaisnt each other, what am I supposed to do?

aha... Sorry then, I don't know much about mods and stuff like that. But I do know that there is a "money tree" and a thing that kicks up your demands, that must obviously be cheating. Anyway, yeah it's a little bit unfinished. I wish they made another simcity instead of that society. No offence but I think it's a total failure. I bought it and thought "Wow! New simcity, how cool is that?" To be honest I was very disappointed. It felt like it was made for 6 year old children. Into the subject, whatever nevermind. So my coal is to hold the buses higher then cars as long as possible and see what happens, and if buses are useful, it gives motivation hehe. Also it's great when the streets are blue from all the buses driving there hehe.

hmm... I am not using any mod 'cause I hate cheating and making games easy, I allways want to play the hard way for some reason. And most of the time I'm not getting anywhere with that... oh well Anyways, I was wondering if people will use buses when the city is really big or they need subway then? And if there is subway will the buses be totally pointless? I was doing a test other day and got I really big house (atlest for me) it had over 5000 people living in it. So let's say that, a bus stop has 2 houses like that next to it and maybe 25% of people will take the bus, that makes 2500 people using the bus... massive! Or is that not going to happen?

Wow, that's awsome! I wish I could someday have such region, so far I got only one small village. Are you using somekinda water mod? It looks nice and more realistic, where could I get it?

So are buses useful and worth making or are they pretty useless and what are they good for? I lost the manual and only information I get is "Sims can only board buses at bus stops" ...and it ain't helping. I have allways made some bus stops but they never worked for me. But in this city I was really careful placing them and made a lot of them and got it to somewhat working (as you can see from the pic) and I am really happy about that. And now I would like to know if it was worth it. I am pretty new at this game and would like to know about these little things 'casue I really like this game so far.

It all came together when i moved my city to another tile. The picture i showed was actually after resloving the problem (as you can see they demand residents) just like you said needed some time to city to react. Little bit about the problem I had, to make it clearer 'casue I know i didn't explain that good: People don't work in the industry or in the agriculture. And because of that I can't build residential areas 'cause there aren't jobs for them and no matter how much i build them they just won't develop. Only jobs people have is from the plant, stations, school and so on. And also can't make any commercial areas 'cause there aren't enough people. Also the industrial demand is allways up and won't change no matter how much I make them, by the way they will all develop but no one just works there. I hope it's clear enough now. I know it's related to bigger city next to my new city but I still can't understand why. Thanks to everyone who helped, I got lot of tips and knowlege from you and I can play now so thanks a lot. And also sorry if I doesn't make any sense and if I make a lot of mistakes, english isn't my mother tongue.

Thanks guys, moving my city to another tile did help, it changed my demand, and it was the whole problem... silly me But they still don't seem to be working on industry... i am pretty sure i am understanding something wrong, so here is picture: ...It's pretty sad that i can't build a city next to another city -.-

I like one big Island 'cause I like ships and stuff like that. Also I feel like my city is isolated which I like. But the terrain is allways flat 'cause I can stand buildings that that are lifted, they look really awful, atleast to me.

Thanks for reply, anyways 1. I don't use any mode just usual SimCity4 deluxe edition 2. Actually I am connected to another city with 8000 pop but my city is an island and i don't have any port so they shouldn't be connected. So you are saying that 7/9 aint workers... then my whole problem is that people aren't for some reason working it the idustry, but they are working in the plant. And the plant is next to the idustry, so I don't think they mind driving for a some time to get to work. I'll move my tile to another region and see if that helps, maybe it's related with that city next to it.

I don't know if i posted it into a right forum or anything I'm first time here so sorry about that. So here is the problem, for some reason i can't start a city 'cause my max pop is somewhere under 200. And that's because they demand industry, okay... i am making industry but demand stays same and people don't get jobs there. If i click on the route query, it says workers and freight (none) but if i click on a bulding it says workers: 7/9 or something like that so... WTF??? I didn't had this problem before, what's wrng with this game now??? Any help please.
