Hmmmm.............. It's nice to play beta, but if you read the contract to most beta, HOLY! RULES! you can't even express what you feel about the game. I would know because I'm one of those few people who read the end of term user agreements (Star Wars: The Old Republic beta tester), it was basically play this game in a closed room with no one even seeing you, and it's like i never played it. So just assumptions here: who ever does get beta can't even tell a fly! translates into no posting of in-game play and a whole lot more.

I am wondering that too, but as I can see from the video it might also imply that cities are not connect street by street, so if I wanted to build a huge city it would be separated by an empty land, I wouldn't mind it to be cut into other cities like in SC4 though , it wouldn't hurt to have this option too

I don't know, but the direction they are going if they keep on adding details to the buildings (Landscape, pathways etc) you might not notice the vivid color of buildings, say we add realistic colors you probably see it as a background and the primary focus which is the whole picture(simcity) well be a little lost. To me: Realistic colors = Great snapshots Cartoony colors = Gameplay focus

Um.... just wondering here... Is it weird that at every gaming site I go to, they barely mention simcity or it's in a very small article. Doesn't this mean not much marketing or probably I'm not noticing it. But around my co-workers and friends only 2 knew about simcity coming out. I have been reading the news on simcity and just like most said here not very much was said :-( When they tweeted follow us on E3 I was expecting to much good news to handle, but basicly it was the same a month ago but we got 5 min footage at least

Um... When I meant old I meant really really old like say about 10,000 years old!! And no Aleppo is not a seaport, but archaeologists have proven that it was once a lake the city itself. (some say like over 100,000 years before the lake dried up). The surprising thing that the capital of Syria, Damascus is 15,000 years old! But unfortunately the mass spread of buildings caused all the heritage to disappear.

Well surprises to me myself is that I'm listening mostly over 50% to the 80s 70s and 60s music, but every time I play a song that was a hit my parents go crazy and yell "TURN IT UP" just to name a few Blondie, Toto, The Beach Boys, these are just on my mind right now. The rest of my time listening to music is mostly Trance, Dance and Electronic. I myself indulge to some of Ke$ha and top 40 songs (guilty as charged )

(when Translated ) Well since you said don't critize about the pictures, but must point out that almost 85% of apartment buildings lack parking space, we rarely find any spots on the street (real life situation) Most countries with developed city planning are New sections of cities in Saudi Arabia, U.A.E, tourist parts in Egypt, new city development in Qatar, Bahrein, Lebanon, Kuwait and Tunisia, Arab land with Fertile land are Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, around the Nile in Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, northern parts in Liberia, spots in Jordan, Iraq and Arab countries near the equator in Africa. Levels of architecture, Roman, Egyptian, Christian and so much more (there is a lot of diversity in the arab world!) but my personal best is when the Arabs reach their climax before the Ottoman empire took over, very colored buildings including schools mosques palaces citadel bridges. Ever since I moved to the middle east, Halloween over here haves nothing to do with Halloween in the states over here the whole Trick or Treat never came here, but the Halloween parties are called (try to pronounce it: Bar-Baaar-raaaaa) means to dress up in disguise, the parties are amazing and people do take their parting over here to the next level. The problem: only the upper class knows it! and no one else knows it, ask the supermarket he won't know what your talking about, ask someone at a high class gathering everyone will be like OH! are you going?(just picture it in a cliche high tune voice), this is the part where I laughed my pants off!.

Come on! The guy who posted this should know that even if this law is passed or not people are still going to smoke weed, have you ever been to Santa Monica, every time I go there, there is the smell of a blunt being smoked (just want to find this guy, and tell him to take a break ), my friends are getting more stupid over this, and yes it does get you hocked (I know people are going to argue but I saw it first hand), my cozin rants about not having weed and he is feeling the need for it (hmm... Never owned one, so can't judge correctly but the for sure the apple hype has reached the middle east, anyone with an iphone is considered rich or just popular, but now since almost 50% of the high class own a couple of iphones in their households it is not so cool now, it is considered that mostly dumb people with money buy this device, (yet my sister and other sister and aunt, uncle cozins Yikes!), well surely my sisters are not dumb nor smart just average, I jail broke it for them downloaded the apps, transfer their music videos etc, not just for my sisters but the whole inchalada (family). My take on this is that Apple surely knows how to use the "word of mouth" method on selling their products, but by sure they do have the WOW factor, but no one is saying they are perfect. And boy OH! boy am I driven crazy by all my friends yanking on my neck for not buying an iphone, If I don't like it i'm not forced into buying it! As for ipods well apple is in the lead unless Zune gets a major makeover As for Operating systems, I don't really like OS mac, i'm more into Microsoft but since they released Vista just by releasing it was a BIG mistake, but i'm okay with 7 for now As for apple TV, no not really Google TV looks more promising So lets see, iphone and ipods are good devices from apple but the hype for the iphone is a little overrated

Hmm..... I try my best to listen to both side of stories but the problem is there is only one Sadly Muslims actually died in the tower too! That said it doesn't make'em the enemy, they just want to build a "Mosque" (Sorry won't call it a Mosque it doesn't even have a dome to it) But the islamic design is quite simple nothing screaming, so they use the Shapes of life (From squares to hexagons) to shape the windows. these were actually the designs of the inner Mosques not the outer, but ever since New York is like a show off for buildings (Which I like), they implemented it to the outside. To make my case stronger, isn't there something called Freedom of religion, Equal Rights!? From my personal info, why didn't I call it a mosque well a mosque is a place of gathering where Muslims do their praying, nothing more. The building design deffers greatly, So I am going to call it a culture gathering building.

Oh! this is all nice, But ever since I saw my older cozin playing simcity 2000 in 1996 (I was only six years old!), It was a life changing experience! Here's a short story of my life if nobody minds, when I first got my simcity 2000 I never liked any other game, on my 7th birthday my moms friend heard I was a big fan of Simcity so she got me the original Simcity (played it until I maxed out on the gameplay). At the year 1999 I was only 9 by then I heard that simcity 3000 was coming out, so I made a pack with my dad when he traveled for work for over a month, the pack was that I turned on the sprinklers (at that time we didn't have timed sprinklers ), so I did what I was told, Finally! my dad came back and as promised I got Simcity 3000 now the problem is my computer was too old for it (I was really smart, well only for simcity smart knew everything about computers to make it work), so this was a new problem for me. I have heard my neighbor got a new PC, Made a deal with him that I would clean his garage and water the garden, for an hour of simcity 3000 on his PC everyday. After a couple of years I have got into The Sims but then heard of the release of Simcity 4, this time I learned from my lessons, first of all convinced my dad that our PC was too old (so he changed it), saved up my money to buy the game, then I knew I was on the right path. Year 2003 simcity 4 was released, it changed the way I think of life. over the years I went to college: First: I studied a year of civil engineering but math was too hard for me, Second: half a semester of Architecture, but as life turns out not everything you dream of is possible (some people actually did it, I'm really happy for them), then after another semester of English Literature, did great but wasn't appealing to me, So now I'm studying Dentistry second year (Not going to change ). This is my life of simcity, if it is was dead my life meant nothing, to me it's alive and keeps me moving and the people here on Simtropolis kept me moving. Some might say this is pathetic or I'm just nuts, But I forever will still play simcity even if there is no other release even in the next 10 years (lets just hope that EA finally got back to it's senses by that time) Zack Sorry for the long post

Okay! this is totaly not fair my xbox 360 got burnt a month ago, by the console itself LOL! My computer barely handles SimCity 4, sold my PSP, broke my nds lite, gave away my wii, sold my ps2, broke my old xbox, and no I didn't buy a PS3 but I still have the PS1 But the most that I love is the PC, first of all it's an ever evovling system, from high end CPU's (AMD/Intel) to high end Graphic cards (ATI/Nvidia), everytime I buy a new computer after a year it's sooooooooo yesterday!, which is really bad for my very thin wallet

I keep hearing LA LA LA LA But none of you guys state or explain why? Just some pointers, I have noticed someone said that to many highways is a bad thing, could be! My theory about poor LA is that we have too little free ways and a lack of mass transport system, about the highways just picture that almost all of them are built to head north and there is NO west to east highways, we got the 101 highway and 5 (which is the same of 101), even thou that there is a highway right in the middle of the downtown but the problem is IT'S the only one. LA haves too many county's all around it you have the OC, Riverside, San Bernadino (I think I left one out) anyhow if I am going to travel from my home in Anaheim, OC to Santa Monica, LA it would take me almost 2 hours on the highway and another 2 just on ordinary roads (that's nuts). Now since most claim that orange county is the better version of LA think again! if I want to go to the beach it takes me an hour on the bike, 40min on the bus and 30min in my car (please remember that there is no highway, only avenues), the best time to do so is kinda weird, since all streets are on the green wave system if you end up in the "RED" wave your late for at least 10min max, some might say that 30min is not that much just picture that in a highway you could get it in 10min or less! Sorry about the long post! but the bad news that LA is not the worst city planned neither any of the cities you guys said are the worst of the worst (Just picture a city that's over 10,000 years old and is still populated one is 10,000 B.C and the other is almost 8,000 B.C) they are the cities in the middle East which goes from Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and Iraq (I left Jordan out because it's not that populated) I'll make a thread next week with some pics :-)

Um.... I must say, that someone on youtube uploaded a video with UDI! and it seems that you and him are almost alike, either it was you or someone that builds the same way as you. Just something out of the random, I notice that every single person haves his own style of building and city planning (it's like a fingerprint)
