You are referring to the quilombos I am sure?   Hehe no man, I was referring to favelas. In big cities here, like São Paulo, we've got fucking huge favelas man, on the periferical area of the city, and even close to downtown. IMO, simcity was (in fact, still is) way to "first world", know what I mean? We need more poverty, that will, for sure, add more realism to the game.   Quilombos are diferent things, they were villages of fugitive slaves when Brazil "was" a colony (not that today it is very diferent, I mean, we still are explored as hell by first world countries, look for NIOBIUM in google, you will be amazed). Today, we still have some Quilombos, but as far as I know, they don't exist in major cities like Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo. They are located in rural areas or in small towns. Their dwellers are like, living and walking history registry of this country.

That's just amazing man, thanks a lot for your efforts. As a brazilian, I must say that I've been waiting for this for many years! This will add so much variety to cities now, and simcity was (and in fact, still is) lacking many things from South America/Africa, since, at least here in Brazil, the simcity community isn't as strong as american or european community. It makes me sad that all my cities must look like european/american cities, but this bat pack is a great step forward in changing this reality!   Again, thanks a lot for your effort and for sharing it with us!
