Anyway search the web if you don't know how to open the .pak files, some smart folks have figured that out already. One you have done that you will then see the ambient folder in your sounds folder - as stated all you have to do is move it. For anyone doing that MC already said they won't support you - best if your going to do this to make a backup of your sound folder to revert to prior to any patches.

    So can we post the Ambiance folder for people to download here so they too can have ambient sound or does that violate the agreement? The folder is already there in your files we are not changing any of the code?

  7. October 15, 2009 - Monte Crisco announces BluePrints right around the corner. Anyone every been around the corner? Did it take you over two weeks to get there? Never did for me... Now we've all seen the timeframe for right around the corner, how long is it going to take and how much will we spend monthly waiting on the other promised content? All I got for my 9 dollars this month was the right to post my frustration on this forum - but I'm sure like some of my others it will also be deleted soon ... er um - I mean moderated soon.

    Sorry Rakeesh, I do not enjoy giving Monte Crisco money for promises and pictures which is all we've gotten. I may have been branded a sucker yesterday but today is a new day and actions speak louder than words. Unfortunately there is no action, just words - and as you point out pictures.

  16. Yes the old lady ends up beating the crap out of the mugger who runs away. That is so far the only "crime" I've seen. I'm sure there are other random crimes but I've just recently starting a city and started looking for these things. I have seen the police pull in to the police station and unload people from their wagons. And FBI guys come out of the police station get in a cruiser and speed away. Althouh the animations seemed looped for each lot and play once they reset themselves, they add 100% to the game.

  18. I've been getting mixed answers to the questions below so I'm trying to find out if we have multiple versions of the game out? Some say they have these things in game, others say they don't. Before we call it a technical problem first I want to find out what everyone is seeing. Thanks 1) Are your lots animated, do people drive in the lot, park their cars, get out and walk in to the building? Congregate on the lots? Do you see basketball players playing on the basketball court? 2) When starting a map do you hear birds and wind? Once traffic gets a little heavier do you hear the sounds of traffic on the street?
  19. No one was ever able to confirm for me but I have since confirmed while playing the game lacks any sounds except music and when you click a building you hear a 3 second wav file. No car traffic, no people, no wind, no bird, no city - nothing but the sound of silence..... What a game killer - MC I hope you plan to add this in.

  22. How to raise education?

    I'm having the same issues and to add to it I can place a school on the road right behind a residential area and the overlay still shows red for part of the area right by the school. Must be factors that contribute to the lack of education in that area but I've not yet been able to figure out what they are. Could it be too much traffic?
