Here's a small map of planned expansions: I have finished the refinery and container yard D (which finishes up the port split off from the mainland) and I plan to upload pictures later tonight, after work. In this city journal, I will attempt to make full use of any "modular" pack I can get my hands on. This includes BSC parks, MAPP, CDK, CSK, SimGoober Canals, PEG's PPonds, SNM, NAM, RebaLynn's MSS, FLOG/NHP Modular Golf Course, Modular Aquarium/Zoo, Newman Inc's Oil Refinery, University of Clayhurst, Deadwood's Raised/Sunken parks, BLaM's Modular Railyards, SOMY's oil/LNG ports, Smalltown USA (not really modular, but is a great set), RMIP-2 Small Airport Edition, and any others that I get recommended to me. I feel like this is a great way to showcase the community's custom content and a way to improve my skills with each of these packs. So, let's jump right into it! The region I'm using is a modified version of "Darwin Harbour" which is by drunkapple, avaliable on STEX. The first city I'm building this in is called "Foxborough". Ft. Gavin Military/Naval Base The Ft. Gavin military and naval base was created using only lots from the SimNation Military package (avaliable from the SC4Devotion LEX). The trees between the lots are "Tree Lots", avaliable on the STEX. North Entrance Gate East Shore - Aircraft Carrier / Drydock Military Railyard Drydock Close-up Fuel Depot / Patrol Boat Pier Foxborough Container Docks The west shore of the seaport provides container shipping and storage in the form of container yards (forgot who makes them =P) and container docks from PEG's CDK3-SP (avaliable on PLEX) West Shore Overview Container Yard A Container Yard B Container Yard C Railyard A - Freight Train Offloading Railyard B (by SFBT) Foxborough Petroleum Docks The east shore of the seaport provides storage and transportation for crude oil and liquid natural gas (LNG) An oil/LNG pipeline travels through the seaport area, where it will connect to the Foxborough Refinery on the mainland. Many of the tanks and piers in use are from SOMY (avaliable from his site), the herbst pipeline set (avaliable on STEX), and various RisingSun products (from STEX). East Shore Overview Liquid Natural Gas Storage Liquid Natural Gas Docks (w/ parked ship) Crude Oil Storage Crude Oil Transport/Pipeline End (w/ ship) That's all the further I am so far.
