Exporting Sketchup pro works to gmax then in BAT or SC4model Tutorial
Darkcutie posted a topic in SC4 - Custom Content
It's much easier to create buildings props and other custom content in sketchup pro than in gmax only takes you about 1hr or munites only After you create your work in sketchup pro here are the steps: 1. click file then export 2.Click 3d model then go to the directory you want to save your work 3.Create your new folder name it as you like 4.Click export then close sketchup pro 5.Open SC4 B.A.T. then wait for gmax to load 6. When gmax loads click file 7.Click import 8. go to the folder where you saved the 3ds model then click the file of your work (default is only 3ds and prj files appears) 9. When your work appears sometimes you don't like the size or not attached together (that's the only problem whe working with sketchup pro actual size and sometimes not attached with each other) 10. If parts of your work are not attached click modify then attach then click to the parts you are attaching 11.If size too small Click Motion then click scale under the PRS Parameters then then under the key info you can scale your work in X Y and Z. 12. then click utilities button then BAT These is how I create my buildings and props much easier and less time consuming. VHere is the 2nd version of the Eco friedly building It keeps nightlight inside concept from discovery channel and cools itself by centralized aircon and I added a gaurd house and a helipad and also lighted up the google sign to make it look good the building concept was herseys kisses and it uses 0 power and 0 water from city cause it gets its power from solar panels on the side of the building and water is pumped by its own water pump from deep well and stored in water tower of own the gaurd house uses energy saving lighting that's why you can't see the nightlight I lowered the light in sketchup when it rendered you can't see the nightlight and oh yeah it recycles garbage too. for the one's who have downloaded my 1st version delete it when you use this needed by this:BSC Textures CO$$Jobs:300 Power Usage:0 Water usage:0 Garbage:5 -
