Try this lot. https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=2865 Depending on which WtoE lots you are using you still may not have enough capacity. I have a region of 2 million+ and not a single landfill.

Is your landfill connected to a road? I couldn't get my landfill to disappear until I removed all road connections. Now I use the Black Hole Waste Management lot, no more worrying about landfills.

I'm no expect by any means, but my guess is your problem is you have no low wealth population. You have to have poor sims to fill the jobs no other sim wants. Poor sims then get educated and move on to better jobs and other poor sims replace those. As was suggested earlier lower your R$ tax rate to increase demand and I bet your problem would disappear. As for NAM and traffic simulator Z causing your problem, I would venture to guess no, unless you are dealing with eternal commuters (see NAM manual) but since you only have one not very developed neighbor I suspect that is not a problem Someone please correct me if I have that wrong.

Try adjusting the in game graphic options. Set city detail to medium or high. That worked for me when I had a very similar problem.

You are correct in that only two are police stations, although both Town Halls have some multi coverage as well. And yes, I have been using them all along in most of my cities with no problems. As for the SGM Grand, since I don't mod any lots myself it's possible I have no idea what I'm talking about, but I thought I read somewhere (may have been an omnibus article) that you can adjust how much crime is generated by a lot. Maybe, since that lot is a huge casino, the crime factor was adjusted. I'm just guessing. On a side note, I started a new city in the same region today. I used the same exact lots except the SGM Grand. Not a single problem. Although I let it run most of the day and checked in on it. I didn't actually save, exit and reopen. I'll do that tomorrow and will see if there is a problem. If no, then I may have solved which lot caused it. If yes then back to the drawing board. I still don't know why after deleting every civic lot the bug still exists in that one city though.

Hi tungston! Thanks for the reply. Yes, I use custom lots. No I haven't changed the values of any lots myself. I haven't ventured into doing any custom work on my own yet. I have my favorites of course. I use the following in all my cities: mattb325 Police HQ, PARIS large police department, Simgooober suburban fire department, CSX Town Hall and BMD Town Hall. In this particular city I also used: Newman Inc Federal Courthouse, PARIS very large fire department, CSX Palace of Justice, CSX Supreme Court. I've used these lots in other cities with no issues. Those are the safety lots I used. I have also used custom health and education lots in this city, but the sliders for those weren't effected. The fire slider wasn't effected for that matter either, just police. The ONLY lot I plopped in this city that I haven't plopped in other cites was Nealos Casino SGM Grand. In fact the only other city I had the bug in had that lot, and those were the only two cities I used that lot in. That's either the world's biggest coincidence or there is a connection. Maybe that lot has adjusted crime factors? I did delete that lot from the city and from my plugins folder but the bug is still there. Also, like I said earlier, I bulldozed every single custom civic lot in this city and the bug is still there. Any thoughts?

It seems as though I'vve been hit by the Phantom Slider bug. This is with a new city that has been developed to 150,000+ pop. I used the same buildings I've used in other cities as far as civics. I installed no new civic related plugins since starting this city. Out of the blue crooks were escaping since the funding for police reset to zero. I came here and read extensively on this issue. I bulldozed every police lot, saved and exit, the bug was still there. I repeated the process until not a single school, library, museum, police, fire or health building existed in the city. (sims are way not happy about this) The bug went away. Funding was zero since nothing existed, but the slider didn't reset. I then added back in a police and fire, same buildings I've used for weeks while playing, and the bug reappeared. I bulldozed the lots, save and exit and nothing. I tried different building, maxis, non maxis but the bug remains, and this time it doesn't go away when not a single civic building exists. Any thoughts? Please? I've spent the last four hours tracking this down and I'm ready to ditch the city, except if I don't figure out which building does this it may infect other cities.

Well don't I feel like a *****. Thanks tungston, you rock. I adjusted the graphics option and presto, missing props appeared! One small problem with going to the simcity site. I've tried to register there but it won't let me log in. When I re-register it tells me my serial number has already been registered. See I never received my authorization email. After reading the thread here about registration problems, I tried emailing account@support.ea.com from my comcast.net email acct and the email just bounced, several times.

Hello all. I'm not new to Sim City, but am new to SC4 and custom content. I have some odd bugs I think. Let me start by saying that I purchased and installed SC4 Deluxe Edition last week, then got the udates from the official site, then I started playing. I noticed that some of the lots didn't have detail, like the parks. All of the small, medium and large parks, including the playground were empty, like this: so after sniffing around the web I discovered custom content. Cool. I downloaded some lots and dependencies and kept playing. Then I noticed that at least one (I say at least one because it's the only one I've noticed) lot wasn't rendering like it was supposed to. It's the minor league ball park (original game not custom). The only reason I know what it's supposed to look like is it rendered correctly before I downloaded any content. Example: First city ever - before any custom content downloads, but after maxis updates: Later cities - after custom content downloads Also, more weirdness. I'm reading through the Omnibus of Knowledge. In the Landmarks thread it shows several buildings I don't have, like the Arc de Triomhe, Capitol Records, Seoul City Hall, Globe Arena. If those are supposed to be original content they don't show up at all in my Landmarks menu, not even as greyed out. I don't know if the two issues are related. I'm hoping someone here has some ideas about how to solve these. Thanks guys!

Hello all! I'm not new to SimCity, but fairly new to custom content so please be gentle. I've downloaded a couple of the CSX Mansions, specifically Audley End, by Vlakhaas. In the Read Me, he (?) recommends "I suggest that you get the CSX Mansions Document from Simtropolis to help you with this mansion.", but does not link the document. I've searched here with no luck. Anyone know what he's referring to? Thanks!

Hi Doc. No, I haven't used DIC for any installations yet, I've just downloaded it and am in the learning stage with it. Do you want me to download something first then post the image of the DM? Is this what you mean by the main DIC screen?

Hello all! I've downloaded and installed DIC but have a problem when trying to run the program for the first time. I get the following messages: "We cannot locate your plugins folder. You need to install DMI folders first." then the preferences dialog box opens and I get this message: "missing SC4 installation folder" Any help is appreciated.
